What is this cue worth?

yep, someone did buy it.

Its just interesting, i've never noticed high end factory seconds for sale before.

youll find more meucci factory seconds. some guys got em for 100 to 150 euros shipped (so actually the price of a black dot shaft or less)

I would question calling it "high end", but those Meucci factory seconds are pretty commonly seen actually. I consider them a bit of a curiosity more than anything else.

True :D its not exactly low end either though. The big factory second stamping kind of ruins them for being a "showy" cue I think. I'll still keep a look out now that I know they exist though.

Some are just fact 2nds with cosmetic blemishes. A friend of mine has had 4 Meucci factory seconds. All of them were nice quality, but I wouldn't call them high end. They are still Meucci's after all.

meucci cues

I bought and sold 3 new meucci cues in 2006. one of the meucci cues was a gambler.
All 3 cues fell apart.

The main problem was the finish on the butts .

and the shafts delaminated.

You know the difference between a Meucci and Meucci Factory Second is?

How can you tell the difference on the 2 sticks.... sorry I'm new just tryingto find out what kind of stick my grandfather left behind....

The roman numeral number is the number of what Special Edition it is, and the #328 is the cue number in that edition.

I think they are up to Edition #17 now.

1/2 price

Its a meucci gambler 3, a used factory second (and clearly stamped on the forearm that it is).

Its intriguiging because it is a beautiful stick, but as a more "ego" stick with its looks being the important part, i'm not really sure on the value of a factory second. I know that new and not factory second its in the $650+ range.

The only difference between a $100k car and a 100k car with a salvage title...is the title.

There is however, about 50k difference in value. I believe that the same would hold true with the cue. 1/2 price.

yeah, that was sort of what I was thinking, and even then it was a case of "is it worth me spending $300 on this right now?" and I couldn't come up with a yes on it :) Got a used 314/2 for my mcdermott instead, way cheaper and more play value too.

really you'll have to post pics to get much of an idea as to who likely made it.
