What is with this site?

It must a database related issue, I think but do not take my word for it. Is there anything AZ'ers can do to help?
Are you guys in need to update your Web Servers and need some extra help $$$?
Also, it would be nice to have on the main page of the AZ website some sort of status notice on the forum if it goes down or if it will go through maintenance.

I stumbled on to a way to get back on sooner: CTRL + Refresh calls up a fresh copy of the page. I was hitting the cached copy until I did that key sequence.
Speculated on this before
Many forums find that archiving older posts or even deleting them keeps the site more stable. The database for AZB forums has to be huge. Clipping it down by creating an archive and moving everything over six months or a year old over there might make the forums more stable.
