What is you playing cue?

Playing cue

I am shooting with the 1983 Richard Black basic 4-point cue that was recently changed from irish linen to Python Skin by Annie O, using an Annie-O custom layered shaft. Annie O also refinished the complete butt of the cue. It is shown on my avitar.

How's the Annie-O shaft? I've read some interesting things about it from her site but didn't know anyone who owns one. How's it compare to a Predator shaft?

Annie O shaft

I have not used the Predator.

I did get an OB-1 shaft for my Mottey cue recently, and prefer the diameter and hit of the Annie O 35-layer shaft. The Annie O shaft seems to hit straight in shots with better frequency. I would definately recommend this shaft and plan to get some more.

my playing cues...

i currently play with a Mike stacey or a titlist conversion by Tascerella...or Titilist conversion by Richard Black

My cues

I have been using my Viattorre and my Bryan Mordt.I have a great Skip that I have never chalked because I did not want to keep switching my playing cues and mess up my game.I am currently waiting on a cue from Bryan at Alaskan Assasin. I also should be getting my Zylr soon.I have about another years wait on my Searing.
Too many cues not enough game.

I play with a Searing and a Gilbert J/B, but use a TS sneaky pete in the bars. For some reason I don't quite understand, my one pocket game is best with my Kikel.

Tim Scruggs playing cue.
Cuetec break stick which I still want to upgrade.

Mondy night comps:- Meucci Original + Jehrico Stinger

Any other time :- Blackcreek + Pred BK + Airshooter

I shoot with my 97 Searing 4 ebony point most of the time. I also play with a 2003 South West 6 point and I also shoot with a Benson merry widow. The Benson I just bought at the BCA Vegas tournament last week, man that cue hits sweet.

everyday

Out of all the cues I have I choose to play with my C-6 Mcderott, it plays just as well as the most expensive cue I have, they just dont make McD's like they used to. SOLID.... I would pick one up next time you see one, you wont be disappointed;)

i play with a Frey rosewood SP wrapped with green dotted white linen.

it looks less sneaky as someone would say. anyway, i wanted a fully spliced cue and love the hit very much.

Cuetec is my breaking cue. It is a white with black wrap. I have a phenolic tip fitted to it.

For snooker I use my 60" McDermott w/10 1/2 mm tip. I use my Coker for one pocket and 9 ball.
