I managed to three-foul on the opening break at straight pool. That cost me -21 points without my opponent coming to the table. (Yeah, that was the wrong rule, but that's how we were playing.)

That's awesome. I remember him being like 15 or something in the rankings at one point. Maybe 2006 or so. He is still a threat to catch a gear and run a set out on any given day.

Blue, Green. Different combinations with a Yellow ball.

I don’t know that. I haven’t watched any 3C in a long time. I ways ejoyed watching the tourney in Arizona every year
Straight pool 168. Worked at straight pool only in practice one summer. Broke 100 maybe 6 times. I enjoyed playing, but nobody plays straight anymore.
7 racks of 9 ball on a 9 foot Gold Crown 2 with 4.75 inch pockets for a $10 set I won race to 7 from the coin toss
12 racks barbox 8 ball on a Valley playing race to 4 for $100 a set. Opponent won a set...then I broke and ran 3 sets winning all 3 coint tosses. Guy quit playing...I was like you didn't so anything wrong.

He is saying he held the bar table that many.
When I go to the bar they get me drunk for free but I gotta worry about getting jumped because the rednecks are sore losers....draw a ball 2 feet and they get that look in their eyes.

Someone on here was saying no bar table players could beat pros....kirkwood , clarterbuck and others came to mind.
I was playing these 3 APA 6s for $50 race to 3 eight ball at Fran's Riverside Inn. Not really laying down, but not trying. I hit autopilot and got serious....they were not pleased. Thought I was going to ve swimming in the river for sure. Only beat em for like 300...

Kirkwood is an absolute beast.
I bring my buddy to SBE who plays good. I'm like I make money here always and you do it by just never playing champions. I look over and my native friend with a long rattail ponytail is playing Kirkwood...holding his own and all the fish are watching.
He couldn't get any action after that.
I watched Pedro run 17 and out going to 32 playing the Mexican national champion who was at 28...Now that was something special.In 3C I love ran 4 once, with coaching I've ran 5 twice and lots of 4’s.
I’m not good at 3C, it’s wonderful to watch anyone who can run 10+ or average above 1 in tournaments
I’m not worried about the purple 5 showing up on a 3C table anytime soon
I've played 3 cushion even less than 14.1, the time I ran 5 points was playing Pedro. He gave me 15 points going to 25 and still beat me soundly.

Oh yeah, I forgot about one pocket. My proudest moment in one pocket was I had been practicing 10 ball on the 4" diamond that RKC did up at the old golden fleece in Wahsington. (The owner let me practice tenball on that table so long as I didn't break) Dan Louie came in because he was going to be giving a lesson on that table. (The owner, I forget his name, told me that I could play on it until Dan came in). So Dan says he's going to be giving a lesson in a bit but asked if I wanted to play some one pocket on the table until his lesson got there.
So I break and Dan makes a bank and runs two balls, then he misses a ball and leaves me a bank. I bank it in and run 8 and out.
Dan comes up to me and says "Thank you for that, I need to get punished when I leave a bank like that".
When talking about nice players, (and I've played a lot of pool players), the two names that come most prominently to mind are Oscar Dominguez and Dan Louie.
