What is YOUR Personal Favorite Cue Case? (you got to own one)

But what modifications would you like to make tooYOUR Personal Favorite Cue Case to make it Better, More User Friendly, or.

Personally I have been using a Ron Thomas 2 x 4 with 5? & 15" Pockets, the Case is Buffalo, an almost bullet proof leather.

Would like the case better if it had a separate compartment for my JUMP BUTT HANDLE.

Because it would be easier to get the JB out faster when I need it, also I wish Ron Thomas offer a Padded Shoulder Strap, and the only other thing is I wish there was a lanyard to keep the Cases Cap preeminently attached to the Cases body.

Last wish would be for Ron to do 3 x 6's, but that will not happen.

love em

Bought a bunch of these GTF cases. They are great for storing cues in. I got ones with no pockets or handles for storing, and I'm sure you can get with for your playing cue.

My new favorite has to be the new generation It's George 3x6. The amount of storage is incredible and the 3x6 configuration makes the difference.

When I finally pick up a 3x6 Justis case it will be a tossup at that point.....

jack justis prolite.. white italian leather with brown pockets...

but......

i got no money for it! LOL

I love Whitten cases.....but I wish he would make them slightly longer. I can't fit my 59" Carmeli in there.....and it only barely fits my 58" Carmeli.

If Whitten made their cases just an inch longer, that would be perfect!!!

Man you make it so hard to read your posts sometimes because you post so much animated little faces. Very distracting lol.

ditto..but maybe a ron thomas 2x4 is also awesome.

Whitten

They are my favorites. Of the cases I now own, I would be sure to select a style with enough shaft tubes. I have a few 2X4 cases but I have been accumulating 3rd shafts for some of my cues. Plan ahead if you intend to try a laminated shaft or break shaft along with the two originals! Also, I have bought draw string bags to keep the cases like new when stored.

You can get one an inch longer from them with no problem...

brandon <--- loves his whitten too

Since I only own an It's George 1X2 and a Giuseppe 2x4, it has to be my It's George case. Its slim enough to carry easily, has enough storage in the 1 pocket for what I carry, and it protects well.

Omega had some New George 3x6's for sale at the BCA, IMHO the Thomas is built better, but Ron does not have the Extruded PVC Material to build 3 x 6's.

Joe does if you Custom Order, and pay for the length you want. FYI

Instroke Buffalo 3x5. Not the nicest looking case I own, but by far the most practical. I do wish it was a little lighter though.
The nicest looking case I own is my 2x4 Whitten.

3x6 soft sided Jim Murnak case. I would not change a thing as it is perfect. I probably should have added a little tooling, but I really did not want a gawdy looking case. It is precisely what I was imagining in my mind when I ordered it. I will post pictures later.

Jack Justis ProLite

but....

I would like to make the pockets more accessible
Have holders inside to hold chalk so that it doesn't slide all the way to the bottom

Have dual back pack straps

Have all the zippers zip down (instead of up) so that hanging a keyring on there doesn't pull the zipper down

Fred

I really like my Instroke Cowboy Leather 3x7. It holds my playing cue, backup cue and my jump/break with lots of holes for extra shafts. If I ever opt for a 60" cue, it will fit in this case easily. I like the hasps on the upper pocket (which also incorporates a side zipper) and the lid. The lower pocket is very spacious and has a zippered pocket built-in for a cue extension. Quality zippers. Nice looks. Probably the last case I will ever own (heard that one before???).

Maniac

P.S. And no, it's NOT too heavy to carry!!! At least not for me.

I have a Thomas 2x4, and am quite pleased with it. It is lightweight, protects the cues well, keeps all the moisture out, FrictionFit system does a terrific job of securing the lid on, and the pocket has plenty of room for my needs. It has a luggage handle, as opposed to a shoulder strap, which is fine for me, as my shoulder cannot handle that type of carry anyways. I use the case for regular carry.

Off the top of my head, I cannot think of a thing I would change/add at this time...just a great all around case.....for me. :)

Thanks for the heads up, guys. Whitten does, indeed, make longer cases for a reasonable fee. I just put in an order for a new 4x3 case! Finally, I can carry by Carmeli in style!
