Bumpa da thread 1 last time.

Bumping just to get over 100 votes to make it a decent sample size. Looks like "wrapless" gets the nod this time ! ;)

market changed a bit, so it seems, small sample of data.

would be funny is cue makers had a up charge for wrapless and gave a discount for a wrap.:)

yeah, it is a small sample size (comparatively speaking to the entire pool playing world)

I admit it..... I Do love to see that EXOTIC wood ! <----- on cue handles.
Not so sure I'd wanna be stroking a wrapless when I'm on the money end of a tournament.

Charging for wrapless ??

:):)

For me it's wrapless for sure. The feel is so much better in my grip hand. Also I like the look particularly if the cue is wrapless but still has a defined grip section like my Pechauer with bacote "wrap". Busy designs in the grip area of the butt aren't my favorite.

Certainly a prejudiced opinion but I am shocked that Irish Linen is running third. I wouldn't even consider a cue without it. I guess this old dog is having a problem learning a new trick! Of course I don't shoot worth a sh*t ... :embarrassed2:

Hi Eric,
some Cuemaker Charge now 200 Bucks more for wrapless over exotic wraps:eek::wink:
but may have to do with the construction too(much more work)
the Haley is still here for you in September if you wanna it:p:smile:

you have good connections, i told Ralf yesterday i think i will be there in Sept, i had some things happen and couldnt make it sooner :( i will be there soon. yay!!!

You forgot rubber.

Yup, and cork. Cork deserves its own category and is gradually gaining favor from those that try it.

Also, I think stack leather wraps should be a separate option away from leather, because while leather wraps maintain a soft/texture-y feel, stack leather is smooth and hard -- as close to wrapless as one can get yet still have a wrap.

yepps, I know I forgot them (on purpose). I wanted to keep this poll uniform with the one taken 3 yrs ago.

I was tempted to put in "other" , but figured that would skew the results too much. :p

Elephant ear is my favorite, followed by full-belly lizard. If I can't have one of those wraps, then I prefer wrapless to anything else.
