I dont understand what you are asking?

If you want someone to ID it for you, why in the f/s section?

If you are looking to sell it, saying that you already have an idea of whats its worth and not to low ball you, would mean someone already told you who made it and you are being uppity about it with the statement dont low ball you.

If you are looking to sell it and have an idea of whats its worth, then post a price...

just my .02

retort...................I dont have a deff. $$ value as it says. Mr. Stein said a figure when he looked at it at the trade show for a minimum. As it says it will be up for sale, after I can get a ID on the cue. I dont make enough $$ to be uppity. my .02;)

Seriously well said I am so sick of the guys out there that are like OMG POST A PRICE. You know what not all of us have the infinite knowledge of what some cues are worth and as part of our capitalist ways would like to try and get the best possible price for the cue. Taking offers is a way in doing that and I think that these guys are going to have to just relax.

I see nothing wrong with asking for a price of a cue. He says he doesn't want low ballers but what if someone offers him more than its worth? All things are relevant IMO.

As for this cue I think it is sweet looking but have no clue as to its value. So even though I am interested I can't really make a offer since in all likelyhood it would be a lowball.

Simple solution

If you do not want low-ball offers, post a price, if you are taking offers, people will low-ball you :D, fact of life. It does not bother me if there is not a price, but do not be bothered if I give what you consider a low-ball offer

You know other then auctions, everything has a price before buying it. Thats the point.

Saying originally that he has an idea of whats its worth so make offer but dont low ball him is just strange..

It would be akin to saying I know what I want for it, but Hey if you offer more Cool beans!

How would one know what a low ball is? See now I see the min price is 1100.00 Out of my range. So without that info, I could have offered 500, wasting both my time and his.

Plus posting a price will usually help the readers know wether or not its even in their ballpark. (some exceptions of course are the well known cues that are worht 1k or higher from the git go...)

SOME THINGS NEED MORE INFO, OR SHOULD I SAY PEOPLE...........

WAS TOLD UNTIL MAKE IS DETERMINED, MINIMUM $ 1,100.00

I think the guy that told you $1100. should be first in line to buy. Rediculas!!!!!!!!!

I'll pass it on to Mr. Stein:thumbup:

had the same comment as yours a few years back on a willie hoppe titlist 2 piece cue, the guy thought worth $ 1000.00 another said $450.......he sold it for the lessor amount, then found out that the guys comment about ridiculous $$ was wrong. To pass brash judgment is ridiculous....:D

what did Victor Stein think the cue might be to justify a thousand dollar minimum ? no problem with your asking price. you havent disclosed enough info to warrant that price. might be 1000 dollar cue, might be 50 dollar cue. you evidently know something we dont know but you are not sharing with potential buyers. thanks

brunswick tournament cue, issued to players before a tournament, is info recieved from 3 people on here now plus other opinions. I dont know for 100% thats all I have right now..........:)
