If that is the butt looks like it may need a little help. (cracked)
The pin looks to be an 18 tpi.
Measure the length and count the threads.
If it's not a full inch sticking out, just measure a half inch and times 2.

Agree with Dave, cracked joint....will need more than a shaft done. Try a 5/16x18 nut on it, if it screws on that, is what it is

If the rest of it is worth saving, a joint collar and some thin superglue would fix that crack. 99% sure it's 5/16-18.

the guy has been playing and winning money with that butt for a LONG TIME
told me he cracked it breaking
has no desire to fix it
he is the type of player that could beat everyone but the very best with anything
wish i played like him...
its the cue he keeps in his car

I've got a "trunk cue", comes in handy once in a while! It has won me quite a bit of $$ I might not have had otherwise.
