Does any one know what size pin this is on the cue on the left? I placed a 3/8x10 standard McDermott cue next to it to help. Its off a APA sponsored cue but its surely not 5/16x18 as most APA sponsored cues are. THX

Na guys I don't think it is 5/16 x 14, we tried a 5/16 x 18 and it did not work at all. This pin is the same thickness as the 3/8 X 10.

It's 5/16X14. You can actually count the threads and see that it would be 14 (where the other pin has 10). The 5/16X18 not fitting makes perfect sense as the thread count is off.

Keep in mind that 5/16 is only 1/16 smaller than 3/8 (or 6/16) so they look pretty close anyway.

There is no mystery really, just measure the diameter and count the threads. If there are less then 1" sticking out measure 1/2" and double it.

The APA cue is made by Cuetec and has the normal thread for them.

3/8-14, but it's a little different on the major diameter. Slightly smaller than normal for 3/8.
