What players cues would you own?

Top three so far not in any particular order

My choices:

Tim Padgett
South West
Dennis Searing

Showman
Sugartree
South West

Basically any cue that starts with an "S" will do.

Alpha Numeric

So if you had to pick three players cues to own what would you choose? Not talking about works of art, chosen strictly for how they play. Ivory joint and ferrule, wrap no wrap, how would you kit it out?

For me:

Joel Hercek
Southwest
Cognecenti

blackboar , schick , tascarella

This is tough since I've not shot with many of the elite makers but the three whose lists I'm on are Tonkin, Hercek and MTIII. That said, you can pry my JMW out of my cold dead hand!!

Ones I don't have but would pick as players IF they where in the original, mint shape and configuration I wanted....

Original Balabushka - leather, ivory, piloted

Rambow - leather, piloted brass

Gus Szamboti - piloted ivory, leather wrap

Many cues named here are excellent collectors cues, so, not sure if I would be playing with them, so, with the question related to "players cues", I'm taking the working man's approach of quality and price. Not in any order, but for quality and price figuring about $ 500.00 to $ 1,000.00 for a good player, my three would be.
Joss, Erwin and Schon.

*John Nemic....big pin Deano
Bob Owen
Schon ivory joint

there are other great cues, but these play best for me

My Choices

I bought the Player's HXTE10. It was the Player's top of the line at $129.

It was more than I wanted to spend, but hey, you only live once. Right?

My Choices

Without hesitation and I own quite a collection from most of the famous Master Cuesmiths:

WAYNE HOLMES
WAYNE HOLMES
and
WAYNE HOLMES

Sadly Wayne is now retired, a very dear and close friend who is a very special gentleman, total genius and absolute craftsman who devoted all his time in producing quality workmanship with his work. His finished pool cues are something to behold and I and my sons will cherish our cues for life.

Unfortunately, Wayne and his wife Pat relocated and I have lost touch with the nicest people I have ever had the opportunity to meet.

God Bless Wayne and Pat, we love you!
