What pool halls do you want to visit?

I wanna visit Archer's room. As nit-picky as he is about clean equipment, his tables surely are a dream to play on.

I agree with Archers room also Fargo.
In the old days nothing compared to J.C.s in Flushing N.Y.and King & Queens.
Always action, saw Mosconi shoot at JCs once or twice.

Hard Times ......... Bellflower

Amsterdam Billiards ..... NYC

Cue & Cushion ........... St. Louis

Hawaiian Brian's ........ Hawaii

My pick would be St. Elmo's, in downtown Norfolk, Virginia.
But, alas you would need a time machine to see it. St. Elmo's has been closed for lo these many years.
I'll wager that if you were to climb up that dusty, double-wide staircase, very late at night, and looked across that big empty room, you could see old Lassiter practicing in the corner.
Jeez, I just scared the crap out of myself.

i've been to 2 of my top rooms to visit and I would suggest these two rooms be at the top of anyone's list.

1. Amsterdam Billiards, NYC
- This is the ultimate pool hall... classy, great tables, great players, great city, clean and comfortable. It's pricey, but it's NYC... for NYC it's not pricey. The home room of Mika.

2. Club 8, Amsterdam, Netherlands (Coincidentally)
- Not only can you enjoy the finer herbs of life in the city, but this is a GREAT pool hall with Gabriels, Olios and I believe a few Gold Crowns. There are no sub-9 foot tables. The people are absolutely fantastic, the city is the best in the world, and it is the home room of Nick Van Den Berg.

I'm surprised...................

No one has mentioned Q-Master Billiards in VA, Beach, VA!

It isn't a trip to the US Open without a trip over to Q-Master to see what back room action is going on.
