Thomas Engert still plays with the McDermott he first learned the game on, although he says the shaft is now much thinner than when he first purchased it due to rubbing & cleaning it.

Cornbread pulled his head back outside of the empty window hole and said
"It's not the window. Somebody threw in another Meucci!"
One of my brothers swears by his Meucci. I tried it several times but I don't care for the whippy shaft. Some of them are pretty though.
