I was told that its a 80 year old Brunswick Gold Crown, but didn't know if it's a I, II or III ? Another friend said it looks like a Sport King II? Before they where Brunswick. (Not sure if that's the right name) I couldn't find any markings anywhere. any help is greatly appreciated. Should be the start of something good. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1357957088.967851.jpg

Looks like a gold crown.

Does not look like a GC of any generation. And the GC was introduced in 1961 so can't be 80 years old.

Have not seen any with those types of pockets.

It's not a Brunswick, try AMF...and mixed up parts as well, the leg levelers are from a Valley coin-op pool table design;)

Ah, a hybrid....did AMF make Anniversary looking tops?

I played on a 6x12 snooker table that had Anniversary legs and skirts,
a 1920's Brunswick frame with under-size 5-piece slate and side-mounted
British rails.
The table reminded me of Johnny Cash's Cadillac...

Pretty sure it is neither. There were Taiman knock-offs of Gold Crowns
in the 80s. I'd guess most likely one of those.

pt109 - those don't look like any Anniversary rails I've ever seen.
Tho, the corner sheilds look like an Anniversary.

Also - I didn't see any nameplate, so you can eliminate Brunswick and AMF.

I've seen after-market Anniversary skirts with the traditional lines.
I'm really curious about this table...the legs may be homemade with
those Valley feet, as RKC says.

Looks like an older AMF (a very good table by the way) or National Topline table (another good table) with Gold Crown legs. On second look those are not Gold Crown legs either. Some hybrid legs they used to brace the frame on. Probably off a cheaper table.

Thanks guys for all your responses. Sounds like a little fruit salad lol. Plays pretty good only thing I'm not liking is its got buckets for pockets, I stayed with that for the wifes sake I just hope I don't get a false sense of security. Next cover change I'll tighten it up alittle. Any of you have any experience with the things you can put in the pockets to tighten them? Recommend any?

Our local room has two tables that look just like this one, a 9ft, and 8 footer, and both are suppose to be Gold Crowns.

what table is this? A Saunier-Wilhem

I have this identical table- it is a Saunier-Wilhem which was likely made in the 70's... they went out of business around 1980

rhgibson is correct, this is a Saunier Wilhem table. It was called the "Raleigh" model. I bought 2 of these that were new in 1979 from Saunier Wilhem which I later sold when I closed the poolroom. I recently ran across 2 of the Saunier Wilhem "Salem" models which were made in the 1950's/1960's from separate sellers and was able to buy each of them for around $300. Very good playing tables and they can usually be bought pretty cheap. For the dollars spent, a very good table. Thanks.
