What the Hell is this cue...

I've picked up both some great and some weird estate finds since I started collecting cues but this thing takes the cake.

Old Brunswick-style joint, silk Palmer-style wrap, and a butt that has a Rich (Sol or Abe) vibe to it.

I have never seen anything like that clear lucite section in the middle.

Has anyone seen anything like this beast before?

I cant help you but your description is spot on.
And yes,Rich cue seems close. Maybe a Rich cue that had been modified?

It looks like Brazilian Rosewood...maybe?

Maybe an early Ray McKigney

most likely an old rich cue. has the large bumper which many didn't use at all. and he also did the two color nylon wrap like palmer and paradice.

also lots of his cues had the deep joint. with a shaft like that. and he did the clear piece on the butt end.

About 40 years older than that cue... and the lucite section is solid and acts a magnifier so this can double as your readers when you're trying to order food before league play...
You know it’s Lucite? (Okay, that’s a loaded question, meant to trap)
