Very nice cue those veneers and points look great, do not know what it is worth though.
 
Why not email Russ and ask him?
....or just let me know what you want for it! Lol.
 
IMO a little less than a comparable JENSON.

If I'm buying around 6/7 hun-----selling about a hun more.
 
Very nice....

I like the way the ring-tailed lizard complements the cue. It is tastefully done without being too much. As for price, Russ' cues are surprisingly good values, so probably substantially less than similar works from other cuemakers.

I think Duc is doing just fine without any "help" from me. I may have to "borrow" a technique or two from him. These are nice pics of a nice cue, Duc.

Thanks for the compliment guys but these are not my pics. I'm told that this cue retailed for $1800.00 from Espiritu...got it in a trade but can't decide how to price it. I going to list it at my site for $1399.00.

Unfortunately, the secondary market for Espiritu's is very soft. But that's a very unique cue, with the traditional points mixed with a butt that's very Gina-like.

Hope it finds a new home quickly!

very true. i havent seen any espiritu's sell for more than $1000 for ebay, not even the really high end ones with lots of ivory. here's a nice one that completed but didnt make the reserve. auction# 170051173688. ive never had or played with one so i dont know how these cues are. im thinking they would hit like a schon because they have the same joint.
 
You have a nice looking cue, but the market is soft for Espiritu cues. They are in the group that just don't bring the big $$ and I think your cue looks good.

I'm sure the pictures are from the same guy that did the wrap.:rolleyes:
 
Yeah..unfortunately espiritu cues are not bringing the big dollar...but I really like the designed and playability of this cue. My price on this one is properly more than what the market would bare but I think I leave it for now so that I can play with it for a copy of months before letting it go. It's such an elegant cue, a great compliment to the buska designs.

This cue was rewrapped by Aaron Painter a few months ago and yes it's his pics (My own didn't turn out as well). I still got about 10 cues that he's refinishing for me. He does great work for some of my schon cues not to mention really good prices, so I decided to have him work on my personal playing cue as well. Can wait for that one to come....I've ask that he doesn't change the taper or anything because it play perfect for me. Just couldn't stand the bubble in the finish. I just hope it will play the same after the refinish by Aaron.

Sorry sir, the value on this cue just went down considerably IMO.

Yeah, well, he might as well put it on his web site, cause no one on here will touch it now.

Funny - I almost asked him who did the wrap just because of the third pic. See how the wrap isn't flush with the butt? That's classic Painter.

Where the wrap meets the forearm looks pretty good, but I'll bet you can feel the transition from wrap to butt plate. That little gap and ridge will feel huge when you're stroking and it would be annoying as hell.
