what tip?

Samsari vs phenolic

what tip do you have ? anything on these molavi tips?

I just had my G-10 phenolic replaced with the Samsari break tip. It is the first time that I can say that I can have my cake (speed & power) & eat it too (control). Chalking is much less tedious too.

I just switched to Triangle after playing with mooris. I really really love the feedback and feel of triangles.
I also put on a Samsara on my J/B cue. It gives you a nice break but gives you more control then phenolic.

I played with moori med. for years, then they they changed they just weren't the same , wouldn't hold the chalk like they used to , most of you know what i mean. Anyhow i tried kamui med. soft , thought they were very good. But now i tried wizard mediums at less then half the price of moori and kamui's . But over all they play very good , hold chalk good and good feed back , so needless to say when i need a new tip i got wizards to put on. Im gonna try the emeralds on my sneaky pete to see how they are.

Talisman BK on my Break cue
Talisman Medium on my Z-Shaft
Everest Tiger on my OB-1
Kamui Medium brown on my Pre Cat Logo 314

i put moori mediums put on my cues a few months back.... i am not happy. so went back to the most basic tip i have ever used ...lepro. cheap, hard, and used on everything. still not 100% happy but i am glad to not hear that godaweful clink of a miscue anymore.
+ i put a white diamond on my stinger and now it crushes racks. i really like that tip alot

I switched from Snipers to Wizard Mediums. Love the Wizards and don't see myself changing. I've had one on for 6 months now and don't notice much difference from when I put it on.

Any of the following....

Pressed Black Diamonds, Pressed Porper layered water buffalo, Wizard Med, Kamui Black SS, and occassionally a Sniper

played with le pro for forever recently switched to triangle about 2 yrs ago and love it

Triangle, I just had a red pad put on and I think I like it better too soon to tell, I get about 100 hours of play then change to a new tip. They get a bit hard after a while, some last longer than others. Once in a while I get a bad tip-not to often. I'm not into layered tips.

right on FB!....this is the combo I found yeas ago that is the nutzizzle!

the only thing I did was hit the tip with a pik, and burnish every time I played for the first 2 weeks....then, maybe every 3rd practice session.

I think Efren liked this method as well...

tip

Keep in mind i am not a pro player, played seriouly for 7 years, i play with a TIm Scruggs with a OB1 shaft. In past i have played with Mori and i think i fell on a bad batch so i switch to Sniper wich i loved for a while. delamination became a problem has i reshape the tip often, moved to triangle and the consistency of each tip was sodifferent i tried two other tips. on recomendation from a good friend i tried the Kamui (piece of crap compared to sniper) and i also got a Molavia installed. It is in my opinion the very best tip i have tried to date. I agree with the previous coment that it does tend to get slik depending on the chalk that you use so it does need regular (everytime i take the cue out) attention. I'm only on my first one i've had it for 5-6 months so i can't coment on the consistency tip to tip however the construction of the product looks excellent. I would definately rank as follows
1- Molavia
2- Sniper
3- Mori

10345- Kamui
