My first good one was a Muecci HOF-1, I bought about 18 years or so ago, for about 130.00. I used it for a while and put it away. This past year I gave it to my youngest daughter as a graduation present and she plays in a league with it now.

My first cue was a Joss West plain birdseye maple cue. I bought it new from Eldridge Tucker for $150 and I owned it about 10 years. The cue had a number of battle scars on it and a local friend of mine offered me $275 for it one day and I sold it to him. I know it was probably worth more, but it would have needed a refinish job so I let him have it. He was very happy with the cue and I wasn't sad to see it go since the cue was too heavy for me. I didn't realize how much that cue was holding me back until I started playing with a 58" 19oz cue instead of that 57" 21oz Joss West.ratcues said:What was your first cue? How much did you pay? How long did you own it? Any good stories about it?
