And the best way to accomplish this is to eliminate the two set races to four and just play a simple race to whatever amount of games the rules dictate (imo, preferably at least eleven games). First player to eleven wins the match.The best tiebreaker is no tiebreaker. Situations where it is one rack for the match are as exciting as it gets in our sport, and to take that away cheapens it.
I don't mind the short sets. Best of five races to 3 is a fair match that will have some very exciting ebbs and flows.
