What would you do to, about noisy spectators

I think that playing in another players home room (for instance) will bring on that kind of thing... or worse, and that you just learn to fade that crap and concentrate all the more on putting a can of whup ass on their friend :D. Then you smile and thank them for encouraging you with their rudeness... or not depending on the danger level.

It's seems to be part of the game .

Their are always gonna be A-holes that do this. You just have to accept
this as part of the game. Really, I do not think it is the responsabilty of the
player to quiet the game. But the room owner or opperator. If your really
focused on the game most likely your ears should turn off. It's easier
said than done, I know.

Hand the noisey guy an article of some sort and ask him to read it. By the time he's done, you're done.

It bugs me, but it's one of those things where it's juuuuuust not quite enough to hassle over.

I think if it were really bothering me, I wouldn't even say something, but I'd look at them with my eyebrow raised and a smile while I was at the table. If one of them makes eye contact, sees the eyebrow, and is smart. They should take the hint. Maybe a throat clearing and the universal descending palm motion for "keep it down" if they don't take the hint.

Somehow I always find it's less awkward if you say it without words.

I would start talking to the spectators, especially when the other guy is playing, and then HE would ask them (us) to keep quiet.

I like it better that way :D
