What would you do?

Go get a nice cold beer and fugetabout.

Seriously though if it was that big of an issue for him, for that little of $$$ he might want to consider getting a second job to support his complaining:D

Hope all works out and just keep on keeping on!!

Tell him to forward you a copy of the email from Paypal that shows he sent you the payment.

Good idea, Kevin..thanx!

seriously, how much do one of these cost, including postage?

can't two adults work out a deal for a minor amount without taking it public?

tell him to cancel the previous payment he made.. because he apparently send it to the wrong email adress and resend to you..

When you send a paypal payment, there is a record emailed to the sender and also kept in his paypal history. All he has to do is check his email or paypal records to see who and to what email address he sent the payment to. If he sent it to the wrong person he is at fault. I mean, who sends payment to the wrong person? If he has a recored of sending payment to your correct email address and can show proof of that, then if I were you I'd personally contact paypal to get the issue resolved.
