What year did louie roberts pass?

Here is a little Louie Roberts story. He was playing at the Golden Cue in Melbourne Florida in the 1980's and I was a spectator, I guess he was losing. His gal grabbed him by the shirt, shook him a little and gave him what for. Which I had never seen a women do...I think I later saw a similar scene in the Color of Money with Mary Elizabeth Mastrantinio-- Go figure. My husband reminded me Louie hit him self in the head with the rack a couple times and I do remember that also. I guess he was trying to snap out of a funk...

This is right on target Terry. Louie was a great guy, and someone that I respected and looked up as a Teenager. I knew him in his younger days during the 1970's in St. Louis. Sometimes the candle just burns out far to soon!!!!!!!!:(
