Thanks. It plays even better than it looks. I only hit with one Gus cue and this one feels like that. Old school heavy feel.

Nitti (07ish i think) and it's matching inlaid white python case care of Garth @ On Q cases.

I have two main players. For one pocket, I use a 60 inch Jerico, I designed it, Jerry Powers made it. Ebony with bocote and turquoise... quite a site to behold. For 8Ball and 9Ball, we have a local cuemaker in Flippin, AR named Gary Johnson (also an AZ member, hangs out in the cuemaker forum), who made me a beautiful Birdseye Maple and Cocobola cue with ivory stars in it... really makes a LOT more cue than he charges for. Love the hit of both. I'll post pictures when I get a chance... maybe in the morning. Just got back from our regular Wednesday Night shootout and if I go rumbling through the bedroom looking for a camera, the boss lady ain't gonna be happy... and if Mama ain't happy, NOBODY'S happy!

Man Ted, I cant choose between the Veneers on the bottom one or the tulip on the top. A green with white spec wrap would look fantastic on the tulip cue.

Hey Jer,

Great thread

I prefer the traditional wraps as well but it is what it is.
The smooth black wrap on the tulipwood cue feels fantastic to play with.
I finally took it out to play with (after 2-years) just for a test hit and had to force myself to put it away.
James White builds a great playing cue.
Leather wraps seem to be his thing.

These are what I normally carry:
Main Player: 1975-1978 TAD Kohara TAD1M BEM Plain Jane
Break Cue: J&J 1st Gen Model 4414 Jump Break Cue, 5/16x18 piloted, Ivorine Ferrule, Triangle Tip
Jump Cue: Robin Dobson Tadpole Jump Cue

If I don't know the place, I just take the J&J jump break cue. It plays well enough to be used as a player.

My main players are cues by Mike Capone.
I rotate between three different cues, depending where I'm playing and my mood.

this is my main player made by dick neighbors. i got it about a year ago and it's been the only shooter i've used since. my break/jump is a cheap players all black soon to be replaced (hopefully - god i need more cash) by a lomax jumper and a dedicated break cue.

McDermott for a year or so....Patiently waiting on my Keith Josey to be completed and then the McDermott will be moved to my backup!
