Thank you very much Ted! I appreciate the sentiment.

That's pretty funny Ted... :killingme:

Ramon Noodles

Awe Hell No Ted! That was just a joke. The Mottey stays. Point blank,
bottom line. I'm not selling it. I'd rather eat ramon noodles for a year.:)

You better make a trip to Costco then, you can buy a big ole box of em there.

Ramon ?!?!?!?!?

I'd be scared to eat "Ramon noodles:eek:", I don't know who he is/was. Now, if Ramon is a cook who makes ramen noodles, I suppose it'd be ok if he washes his hands...

OMEN 1 or 1 Voodoo Daddy Cue since May 07...before that, mmm a Searing and a James White and one or two Southwests

This is what I'm currently playing with. Chuck is making me a purpleheart just like this, also at 16 oz. I also hit some with my Sailors. Sorry for the bad lighting. I need to build a photo box... not sure what I need. Any suggestioins?

As I look more ath the photos, it looks like I needed to defeat the flash when under the table lights. I have 6 8ft bulbs so I think there's plenty of light available if I use the right setting. I have a pont and shoot Panasonic TLZ5 (I think) 10x mag and about the same megs.. I think. I'm not "in" to photography and don't know squat about it.

Your starkey's only 16oz? why so light, is it just a personal preference? any pics of the sailor cues?

This one is 15.9. The ph will be 16ish. Why? Obviously because I like it! :groucho:

All but one of the Sailor's. :groucho: :groucho: :groucho:

JimS.... giving himself 3 Groucho's (trumps 3 taps) on the Sailor's. Some are really nice... most are ok to pretty dammed rough.

The missing one I just got the other day. I got it cleaned up and now it needs a wrap and a ferrule and tip. It's a plain maple, no points, old school player with one very thin shaft... we're talking 11.04mm skinny with a long taper culminating at a joint that is 31.5" in back of the tip. 61.5" cue! I got some photo's taken of the new one and for comparison laid it next my Sugartree with a "normal" 13mm shaft of "normal" length. :groucho:

Never saw that many Sailors in one place. Great photo.

I doubt there has ever been a photo of that many Sailors in one place. I'm the only one stupid enough to collect them!

That looks like a jam up player cannon. I will take that old tiger x off your hands:wink:. That is like the shaft i use on my main player but mine is 30".
Do you prefer the tiger or the predator on it?

Have a late 90's Schon with an OB-1 shaft that I've played with for the last 6 years now.

Man Jim thats nice, I really like the 5th and 7th one from the left. really cant see what the forearms look like though.{hint:hint} Any Idea the balance pt. on the 16oz maple starkey? Oh and thanks for the green on the other post.

I switch back and forth between my Bob Runde and a Rick Howard cue. I like them both and I use a predator shaft on both cues......

Joe Baker's for the last..................

Been playing with Joe Baker customs for about the last 8 to 10 years. Best hit for the money that I've come across! Got a 3 veneer, 4 point cocobolo hoppe cue, with a sharkskin wrap, and cocobolo/birdseye maple jump break cue, with matching hoppe ring coming very soon! Here's a not so good, in progress pic of the 4 point player! Thanks to Joe for the cue, and koinnkid for the black sharkskin wrap! Can't wait too get ahold of this baby! The points are killer long, and razor sharp!! :grin:IMG_0186.jpg

Umm .. I dun have no playin cue and I dun have no Salior cue ... so if you wanna detach yourself to one of the wrapless one, well, u know ... let me know ...

I love that Joe Baker forearm. Sort of reminds me of a Bender for some reason. JB makes a great cue i had one for a while until someone talked me out of it when i was broke.

Lol! I understand. I have had Joe build me probably about 8 cues or so over the last 10 years, and I really regret selling most all of them. This latest coco hoppe, and coco hoppe jump break "set," will be in the old cue case for quite some time! Wife's orders. Lol! His cues do play very well, and I know he's always trying too find time to get out to the shop.
