It's about perpetuating the kind of behavior that keeps cue sports precisely where it is... in the garbage pile of the sports kingdom right next to curling. But curling is there because its curling....

I don't know if Gigantor Hedd stands in legit blame for some racking shenanigans, but hey, shenanigans have been called. Much like the terrifying prospect of someone in the Home Room rolling their eyes at your behavior.... you get two or three eye rolls and you are GONE .... banished into the desert plains of nobody wanting anything to do with you. So. Im pretty sure Mike lurks here, and does not give a flying rip what anyone thinks of how how conducts himself. So this is a non-issue from the "why'd that happen?" angle. But I would like to know what in particular Jason (with a 'Y') found to be propellant with regard to knocking a M'er F'er out. Just mildly interested... not very, but meh... kay.

yeah curling is curling with a slight difference....... while poolplayers play for a few k in a bar the curling players conpete at olympics and i dont wanna know how much the canadian team earns a year....... im sure some poolplayer would consider curling when they would know the numbers lol

ok, not that much, but still, they compete at olympics and play live on TV, means they have sponsorship + an eventual olympic medal is always good for some cash! they are lightyears ahead of pool......unfortunatly!

It sounds like for some reason Mike had Ara's number and was taking pictures of some girls saying they were following Jayson around and implied that Jayson was fooling around. Caused an argument between the two and really got Shaw mad. It's probably a good thing they didn't run into each other that night.

Until "pool" has a governing body that punishes poor behavior of it's participants, we get this. Another coward that makes threats over social media. If he has a dispute, talk to the guy, privately. If that doesn't work, you don't take it public - you agree to disagree. If the discussion becomes physical at least you were man enough to attempt to talk it out.

The way he did it, makes him look like a punk and YES, reflects poorly on the image of pool. Jayson, best way to improve the image of pool is improve YOUR image.

Knowing Mike's sense of humor, I can see him doing that. But Jayson is not quite as silly as Mike can be, so I can see Jayson getting upset, especially given the competition between those two.
