What's the difference on new Diamonds?

Table

The rocket scientist might just still be working with the dangle of the angles..... But who knows.. I'm just guessing :)

Naa, they're finished up as far as I'm concerned, now all I have to do is fix all the older Diamond's to play like the newer ones:yikes:

Soooo...... can an older diamond be reworked, or would that be cost prohibitive? My table is almost three years old.

When a pool table is described as "older" at three years that's a problem.
Diamond has been claiming to be the best table built for way longer than three years. I would expect them to step up and make your table right, gratis.

I made the changes in the rails on the Diamond tables to play the way they do today by showing them what they needed to change, in no way does that make them responsible for making that change in all the tables they've already built, if that be the case...Brunswick would still be trying to turn Gold Crown 1's into GC5's...because they also made a change in their tables, and doing it for free...right?

I I I I I. I - me me me me me lmao but if you know Glen....well that's just Glen. I do believe I had just a little to do with the change....ya think?
Now....first of all....Glen and I had a long road trying to make a change on the rails. Everyone was always crying how Diamond tables bank short and the rails have a spring to them. Greg is always trying to change something on the table for the better....no table will ever be concidered the best without change.
The change on the rails could be made on any pool table....just so happens this rail change has made a change for the better.
That doesn't mean the older tables are not very good....it just means the pros like a certin way a table plays and we tried to give that play to them on a Diamond table.
Now....can everyone that says they can fix the rails ....just get in touch with me are WRONG!
Glen is your best bet to have the rails done correctly.
I don't fix Diamomd rails....I repair Brunswick rails 99% of the time.
Now should Diamond pay for the change...NO...the tables fine as is....but if you think the table would play better with the rails re-worked...then get Glen to do the job......just remember that we could make the change to ever table that comes from any manufacture. Would that table company pay for the change....I wouldn't think so.
My advise to you is this.....if your going to have the table change...get Glen for the work.
