it is 4/4/13, isn't it? I see no updates here, and TAR site has an ad banner only at their mainpage.

Justin posted on his facebook that a Video on Demand link will be up later today. $19.99. HD. Crazy.

Link to watch and download the first volume which covers aiming will be up later today. For $19.99 you will be able to watch the vido online in 1080p for one year on all devices. Laptop, tablet, or phone on Windows or Mac. You also can download the full HD file to keep.

This will be the first use of the VOD set up for TAR so I expect some bumps but overall I look for it to work pretty smooth. I'll have the link up here later today.

^ That is the part I'm looking forward to  TAR matches on demand.

I'd like to see a one day stream purchase option also for $5 or something for the matches (not for the instruction video), if that is a price point you can work with.

The matches will be cheap. Each day of a TAR match will be $5 and you can watch it for a year. I'm still thinking about making the TAR match files available for download.

Each day or each match? I'd re-watch or watch a match for $5 that is not live that I know the outcome of, but for $15, I am not sure.

That's just me though.

Each day of a match is about 4-5 hours. If I cant get $1 an hour for the best players in the world then I just wont even try to sell it. Actually I am starting to kind of get the feeling that despite all the improvements and big matches we have pretty much reached all that this market will bear.

There really just isnt any market for what we sell. I expect the VOD to confirm this. At that point I'll know exactly where we are at. Then its just a matter of paying players less or going another direction.

Either way we'll find out in a month or so.

I'd throw my $50 down for an SVB instructional DVD. Keep up the awesome work, Justin!

You're right about the growth, you're selling to the same people each time. I'm guessing from match to match you are seeing at least 80% of the same names come up in the sales list.

After thinking about it for a bit, I was basing my value for the matches more on just sitting there and watching match after match. If I look at it as maybe getting one match a week to watch with my friends or my son, $5 for each day is not bad at all.

Edit... I missed the "watch if for a year" part. I was thinking you'd just have it for a day, the ability to turn it on any time would make it have more value. I'd be fine with a year of access to a match for $15.

I think you have it figured out pretty well. The obvious solution which I realize you are well aware of is sponsors with deep pockets and a willingness to wade into the pool waters. Securing them of course is the challenge you face.

How many parts is the SVB video split into? First video is aiming, what are the next ones based on? Also, is there a package price for all of them?
Thanks looking forward to it!

if it were up to me

I would go for the ability to download previous matches and be willing to pay a premium. I hate watching in front of the computer and that is why I don't was the PPV. I am not going to sit in my office chair for 4 hours or watch on my small laptop screen.
But if it were on DVD or I can download it I can watch it on my big TV.

Hook up the laptop to the TV :-)

I did that for the matches I got, worked great. Had some friends over, had some Petron, fun times

Hello Mr. Justin,
I thank you, and I will watch the matches whenever you make them available. Thanks for all you do for pool players and the pool world.
Many Regards,
Lock N Load.

The Aiming portion of the series is now available at https://vimeo.com/ondemand/svb

The Action Report Shane Van Boening Instructional Series is brought to you by Simonis Cloth, Aramith, Bad Boys Billiard Productions and CueSports International. WPBA Pro Jennifer Barretta hosts the video and helps the viewer get into the details of how Shane does what he does.

Price is $14.99. The video is 33 minutes in length and covers aiming Shane's way. You can download the entire video file to keep by clicking the "download now" button. The video is in 720p HD.

Andrew Cleary shot and edited the video so the production quality is high with some great 3D illustrations of instructional points.
