Whats the next match - Tony Chohan Vs Frost or Pagulayan?

So I have been watching the Tony Chohan vs Dennis Orcollo match from the beginning and must say I was blown away! Chohan has incredible shot making ability and to play under that kind of pressure is truly brilliant, another class, another world.

Anyway, what other masterpiece is in the making? will it be Chohan vs Frost or Chohan vs Alex Pagulayan etc etc ?

I play one pocket with a friend in Perth, Western Australia and are most likely the only two one pocket players in Australia :-) so we still have a lot to learn BUT one thing I know after watching this match is that rotation games and 8ball fall a long way short in terms of skills such as shot making and tactical play in comparison to one pocket IMHO.So it is fantastic that the game is making such a significant reemergence and rightly so!.

When we first started playing we had come from 8ball and 9ball and I personally found one pocket boring, particularly when all of the balls where at the far end of the table. However, now after learning the basics of it have found it is the only game I want to play.

The great thing is that you can break and get lucky and pot a ball or place the opponent in an impossible position and then use all of your positional skill to either run 5 or 6 balls or out. However, the next game could take an hour under completely different tactical playing conditions. Also, you can be 7 balls down and still feel you have a fighting chance. It is that diversity of scenarios and shot making which I find sets the game ahead of the others which can sometimes turn one dimensional after playing long sessions.

Anyway still buzzing from the match :-)

I think you can forget about Frost he said he's not playing any big matches now, Alex Pagulayan has had a open challenge to play anybody on the planet a big money one pocket match now for three years and not one player has stepped up and played maybe Tony will step up to the plate and play but i doubt it lol

Dennis robs Alex

He also robs everybody else! Post here, I'll take the action

I thought you watched the whole match.

It's clear that Dennis really doesn't know how to play the game. His only upside is that he can bank really well and he does know how to run balls.

The problem for Dennis is that Alex doesn't sell out anywhere near as much as much as Tony or Frost.

We both know they'll never play a big match, but I'll take Alex for $100 just in case it ever goes down.

What's clear you have no ideal about the game. One pocket is your own creation. Dennis beat Scott an if Tony didn't have a good first day he doesn't win. Matter of fact if Tony doesn't come with some of these crazy good shots he loses . Dennis doesn't know the game??? That guy just might get unbeatable after this match.

The only FACT of this whole match is that Dennis played bad the entire time.

Now,
If you asked me who I would watch a live stream of playing every day, there's no question it would be Tony, there is no doubt he is the most creative straight shootin 1pck player on the planet, he just can't beat Dennis on a B+ day which we never saw.

Congrats to Tony, he showed us what 1pckt can look like

I want to say this again - Tony is without a doubt the most creative and deadly 1pckt player on the planet.

Wow, if Dennis is "robbing" Alex then sounds like some odds are in order. So, if he's robbing him then he's at least the same underdog that Tony was. Going rates were 6 on the wire to 40 & +200. I'd go 1k action my end on either of these.

Grow a heart or some balls, I did when I made that statement.

That's a baffling statement. You said he's "robbing" him. If he's actually robbing him then I'd imagine you'd have no problem at least laying odds. Forgot games on the wire, how about some odds? Alex +150?

Here's the difference. I don't think anybody is robbing Alex for big money. Now, I'm not so arrogant to say he has to win though. But your absolute statements are juvenile as is the one posted above.

Good day sir.

While Dennis is an amazing player he's not fun to watch. Would love to see Tony/Alex. Dennis/Alex would be good too but Dennis can put ya to sleep.

Tony has the 1 pocket king belt, so he should be half of any big $ match. As far as Dennis, I will never watch him playing 1-hole W/O a clock.

Pool is shooting itself in the foot AGIAN. More and more fans are watching and playing 1 hole than ever. Wake up and get rid of the old, old ways of no clock, unlimited breaks and all the BS sharking. People don't have a lot of time on their hands to watch all the silly old days BS with 1-hole.
