What's up with Inside Pool Mag?

I purchased the combo deal at Inside Pool Magazine which was a 1 year subscription and a T-Shirt back on 2/16. I have now received two issues of the magazine but not the T-Shirt. I have sent them about 6 e-mails and also left a voice mail (also called several other times ... nobody ever answers the phone) asking about the status of the T-Shirt. All attempts to contact them have been totally ignored. WTF ... anyone else have any experience with their customer service or better stated their total lack of customer service?

I just know that they post all their matches on YouTube and stream some great stuff, if they came to my house and actually stole some of my shirts, I'd let them LOL

there are lots of complaints similar to this about inside pool, and a few about billiards digest too. I'm guessing print media makes little sense anymore and it's hard to make any money, their focus is on the internet streams, some of which have been great.

Maybe they'll just switch to an online subscription model. If someone absolutely needs to carry it around with them they can print it or read it on the phone or something.

I tried reading the electronic version of Pool and Billiards on my phone, you really can't. A Tablet would work great though.

Before the internet age, I used to go to book stores all over looking for a copy of Billiards Digest, was a fun hunt trying to find a place that had it in stock. Usually found it at Borders. Which is now closed. Sigh....

There is no question that in today's hi-tech age that print media is suffering. However, there are still plenty of magazines sold. They can focus to what ever they want but if they take someone's money they need to fill the order. The infuriating thing is how they totally ignore one's request to find out what's going on.

This typical for at least 6-7 yrs now.

.. always received my copy on time (about the last 5 years)... just got the last copy a few days ago... just one person's experience....

... as I have. That is not the problem. I paid for a subscription including a T-shirt two months ago and they never answer the phone, return voice mails or respond to e-mails. Maybe they are all stoned!

I'm done with these jerks. I just sent them a last e-mail ...

"So really ... you take the money and then just ignore all customer requests? I guess you don't count on word of mouth endorsements to grow your business. I will consider myself screwed and move on. If you wish to redeem yourselves, you have my e-mail."

I'm sure there will be no response!

I used to do the same thing and finally found Billiards Digest at a place called Books A Million and then they stopped carrying it. It used to blow my mind that places sell 80 billion different types of magazines, many on more obscure subjects than pool, but 1the copy of Billiards Digest, Inside Pool, or Pool and Billiard was too much to ask.
