I break with a Petersen cue. 4-point 3-veneer Spain blank.
I play with a ivory handled Harvey Martin.
My jump cue is a Szambotti.
I swear.
If this is true, you suck! lol :D

Dufferin makes a good shooting cue i dont know why no one understands this.
Who doesn't understand this???

I have alot of friends that hated on my Dufferin alot here at school when i played and in a couple of other forums they didnt like them. Its all good though its a personal preference thing its understandable. Just like me and my Cuetec i just like the stiff hit it has and scorpions have too i guess its just me.....

I don't know why you're getting so bent out of shape on this subject. No one is attacking you, Cuetec or Dufferin. The hit of a cue is very subjective and if one type of hit was what everyone wanted there would be one type of cue that everyone would try to duplicate. That's not the case so just enjoy whatever it is you enjoy playing with and leave it at that. If you find something that you like better down the road then even better.

CueTec, your signature on the post says it all. You can take a good shaft with a good tip and put it on a broom handle and it will shoot.

In fact a really good plater can use just a broom handle.

I've seen it done.

OK, I'll admit it.

I have been beat by a fellow using a broom handle.

Now, y'all satisfied!!! :D

Later, Pel

Bluegrass or me?

Sorry Ted, That would be a Richard Harris. I have not had the pleasure of shooting with one of yours yet. I am sure that you make a fine cue too. I was just referring to the cues that I have actually hit with and REALLY like.

I kind of dig that tulipwood Bluegrass you've got on your site there, but I've already got too much money going towards cues...lol.

I love my good ol' lucasi sneaky pete.. down to the basics, but its straight, and it makes the balls go in the hole.. what else could a guy ask for in a cue?!?! nothing, thats right, nothing

yeah this is true in all facts its all good i wasnt getting pissed im just saying i wanna find an old Meucci sneaky pete or so something in that nature.....

Hey, what is a Raodwarior anyway ?

Dave, who's never seen a typo in a handle before, good work raody, there's a first for everything :D

PS, to stay on topic, I play pool with a Falcon M5, break with a Dufferin Phantom, a Candian through-and-through !

roadwarior sounds like a over priced arnot cue lol.

I shoot with a Joss. I love the way it plays. My break stick is a Pat Diviney that I had won in a raffle. It also plays real nice, but I prefer the Joss because I am more familiar with it. My boyfriend has a Schon which plays real smooth. It helped him win the APA 8 ball Nationals Singles Championships in April ($15,000 in cash and prizes). You really have to try out a cue and whatever feels the most comfortable is right for you.
