Absolutely love this cue.

Just curious as to what most Az members prefer to play on.

Personally I'm a fan of 7 footers as it's what I learned on and I'm pretty short. The 9 footers are a pain in the ass for me sometimes.

9-footer with tight pockets (I wish we had a table with 4" or 3-7/8" pockets round here). I'd love to try a 10-footer as proposed by Earl S., but don't know if there is even a place on the west coast that has a 10-footer... Pretty sure we don't have one here up north.

I realize a lot of people like 7-footers, but I don't feel like that's any fun. It feels like a toy... Not that I am good at bar tables, I'm not. But the game on a 9-footer is just more dramatic and fun. Maybe I'd feel otherwise if I grew-up on bar tables instead.

Don't see as well as I used to.
Bar box is preferred, even with a beautiful 9 footer at home.

Kind of a no brainer for me:

7ft table.......too easy to pocket balls
8ft table.......OK if you just want to practice your stroke
9ft table.......perfect, especially a tight GC1 & 2>>
10ft table.....I'm sure there is at least one in Denver but I've never seen it

I grew up on 7 footers so they would be my favorite choice. Still, I wouldn't say it's too easy to pocket anything on a 7ft table. Sure, the pocket size varies from table to table, and on a barbox the distances are shorter, but that's where defensive comes more into play. It's not especially easy to drop a ball when there are three opponent's balls ahead of it.

I am short too. I break the height barrier at five foot nothing, but I LOVE playing on a nine footer...... I shouldn't since I almost need the bridge to rack.... but I love them. I have not had the opportunity to play on a ten footer but out of the seven eights and nines, nine is my favorite

Yeah... I prefer a 9ft table with 4 jnch pockets. No... 3.5 " No ... 3"... Wait, no, I think 2 3/8ths.

Yeah, perfect. That should take most of the angles out of the game.

I don't have a problem getting the cue ball where it needs to be on a 7 or a 9ft table.
With my vision issues at 60-years old my problem is pocketing balls, and I find it too easy to pocket balls on a 7ft table, tight or not.
It makes no sense for me to practice making shots on a 7ft table, but if I start having problems getting out on the 7-footers, I'll start practicing my patterns again.

The only advantage for me to practice on a 7ft table is for a warm-up before a match.

You would love my neighbor's 6 x 12 snooker table with super tight pockets. It takes forever to play one game. It's almost no fun to play on for a rookie like me.

Wow ... that must look like a sea of green when you get down on a shot!

My vote is for 9 footers. I have an eight at home due to place limitations but prefer to play on nines.
