Can you give more info on what these various categories represent in terms of ability, APA ranking etc
 
Interesting results. Taking the quiz I ended up with the result of 7, which would make me a stronger player than I would have given myself credit for. Reading the descriptions afterwards, I think I'm closer to a 5.5 to 6.0, given the results I usually get at the table.

Pleasant surprise, I guess I'm a low B. I figured I had a lot further to go. I low-balled myself at a C before I deciphered the above linked pages.

Note: Whoever wrote the HTML for those linked pages should do a better job of checking browser compatibility.

I think this poll is a sting by the APA operators to catch players that are sandbagging therefore because I play in the APA I will say that I am lower than a C-. :rotflmao:
 
Let's just say that in my youth I was "Quick Draw McGraw", now my wife says if I was any slower, I'd be goin' backwards :D.

Seriously, I'm probably a "C+" player on a good day. A solid "C" on most days. I think your poll should have had "D" ratings on it though.

I use to travel from Phx to Sacramento to Dallas and then to Tulsa OK, and play any turny that i could find in any town. i have had to used this to play when its a abc rated place.
For the most part the turny director gose with it or i will have to play the same rating as the highest player. Thats OK.
I relay think that this is a good format to rate people, if they play a lot of turnys.
I don't play a lot of turnys but i can play a 8 to a 9 speed if the right player is their, but for the most part i cruse at a 7 till i play a better player and then its on like DONKEY KONG for as long as I can keep up.

The letters available in the poll just don't go low enough....I'm no Z, but U or V wouldn't be too far off I'm guessing. Oh well, someday I may be able to win a game :frown:
