What's You're Pool Cue Weight ?

My playing cue is around 18-17.5, as I'm trying to develop sensitivity to cue ball control.

19.25 is my favorite. I've tried heavier and lighter and always seem to feel best right around there.

I like 18 to 18.25.

I just saw this last night and thought it was interesting.

After trying cues at all the weight variety I have not noticed that the "lighter cues cause the cue ball to more lively...because you create more snap"
and that the heavier cues cause the "object ball to pocket faster and the cueball is more lethargic...because you don't have as much snap".

Current playing cue shaft is 4.25oz, never weighed the butt, it just feels right. 2nd Player is 18.25, Break Cue 17oz.

I prefer 18 oz and I've got all my Meucci's right around there. I like a 16 oz snooker pole.

19.25 - 19.5 is what I like best. I can go down to 19 even or up to 19.75 if the balance is right. Outside of that range, a cue feels too heavy or too light to me.
