Say your playing 8 ball, you shoot and the object ball comes off the table and the cue stays on the table. I know the object ball gets spoted, but, is it a foul, ball in hand or do you just continue shooting? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

If any object ball is jumped off the table, it is a foul and loss of turn, unless it is the 8-ball, which is a loss of game. Any jumped object balls are not re-spotted.
I stand corrected, your right the ball does get pocketed.jimmy-leggs said:ball gets spotted and ball in hand foul.
Thats right. The person who didnt shoot the ball off the table gets ball in hand. Thats how we do it here in Houston.Jeffrey Gale said:Charlie & Jimmy, thank you. that's exactly what I was looking for. So, the ball gets pocketed and person gets ball in hand, right?
