Just need a suggestion here . I'm in the middle of a session with one of the best team captians on leauge I could ever ask for. However .....I need a break
I am getting to where playing on a leauge team is wearing me down.I had a goal in mind before I said good bye for good to leauges and have not got there yet so I really just want a break and not lose my good standing on the team.

By break do you mean quit for the rest of the season? Just skip a week or two?

If you quit for any extended length of time you hurt your team's chances of cashing in. They will lose whatever matches you don't play. That's gonna make them resent you. I don't know if you CAN keep good standing without a good reason.

The reason you're giving doesn't sound very good. "I wanted to reach a goal while playing league... I planned on quitting league forever once I reached it. I'm halfway through a session and didn't reach the goal. I wanna quit now." ...doesn't sound too good.

My advice would be to ride it out, find some way to have fun (forget the goal) and then quit at the end of the session. If you change your mind and want to take a fresh stab at your goal, then you can try again next session. Maybe a new team (or the same captain with different teammates) will change your outlook and make reaching the goal easier. Or at least more fun.

If it's burnout, just tell the guy.

I had that happen to me. I was trying to play in 4 leagues a week and by the middle of January, I was fried. There was a lot of traveling involved and I needed a break. I took two weeks off from all leagues. Didn't touch a cue for 10 days. By the end of the 10 days, I was getting the itch to play and when I went back the following week, I was fresh and ready to play.
