Where are all the CF butts?

Yeah I saw, thanks. I just emailed them if they have a model that looks like the shaft. If not, I think I will get this butt to try. When you get it with the shaft, they have a custom option to change the joint and add a name. When the butt is separate, those options aren't there. I'll see what they say about the shaft style butt, then inquire about the joint if I order it separately.

I also saw a couple of reviews of their shaft on youtube, and the reviewers state they play like regular wood as far as deflection goes, and not even close to a low deflection shaft. Who knows...

buy the butt, add your own higher end shaft. still in at around 700ish. at 170bux i wouldn't expect super low deflection, less than reg. wood though.

Interesting they welcome OEM inquires. I wonder what the min order qty would be. Maybe make a batch of 100 the way I want and try to sell them.

Raven cues uses a supplier for their stuff. Might be same outfit. Raven lo-def shaft is really lo squirt. https://ravencue.com/collections/pro-playing-shaft An all-carbon Raven with lo-def shaft is like 425ish.

What I want to know is where are all the wood shafts in 5/16 x14 from quality cue makers that all you guys don’t use anymore since you shifted to CF after your dose of Kool Aid?

Put a How medium tip on a 12.5 and you have a great cue that plays really well.
Extensions screw right in. Looks sharp. Wrapless will last you for ever with minimum maintenance.

Is it gimmicky? Sure.
Do you need a CF butt? Of course not.

Just like you don't need turquoise inlays or flashing lights on a cue butt. It's a matter of choice...
