I know Longoni from Italy makes carom cues.

I'm not sure, but I think Cuestix carries Helmstetters and maybe also Longonis. Cuestix is a wholesaler and they have a website.

If you want higher end, custom cues, Ron Kilby and Dennis Dieckman are both, into 3C cues.

I'm sorry, Rodrigo, but I don't know about the Helmstetter joints.

Also, carom billiards is extremely popular in Colombia? That might be a place you might consider looking at for a supplier of carom cues.

helmstetters are threaded-wood screws on the shaft. i have a bunch of helmstetter CCS cues with pool shafts. closest jointed 2 pc.cue possible to a one piece cue.

Colombia is way farther than US

If truth be told, I didn't realize Colombia was a long way from Mexico.

What part of Mexico is Queretaro in? How far is it from the US and what major city in the US is nearest? Are any parts of Mexico near Colombia?

As the title says does any one know where can I find carom cues? I need them to sell internationally since I am in Mexico

Billiard Warehouse sells the helmstetters I think. As others have said they are wood joints. The regular helmstetter pool cues have steel joints, but the helmstetter carom cues are definitely wood joints. I miss my helmstetter actually.

You might try Schuler as well. You can order direct from them. Not a wood joint but a very solid hard hitting cue. The joint is light so it will balance more like a wood joint than other metal joints.

Also try the kilbys or dieckmans as was mentioned. Dieckmans are spendy so I have not tried one. I have played with kilby, schuler and helmstetter. All will work better than my stroke.

One thing to watch for is making sure you get a case that will fit the wood joint. My kilbys with shorter shafts will barely fit in an instroke. With longer shafts they won't. The wood screw with a joint protector takes some room. (Also, the shaft diameter at th joint is thicker than a pool cue so some cases will be tight in that respect as well.) You may need a soft butterfly type case. The silver fox works well. Schulers fit easily in a regular case.

i think central america is in the way.

I knew that, but had no idea how big some of those Central American countries are. Had a look at my atlas. Turns out that Mexico City, Mexico is nearly 2,000 miles from Bogota, Colombia.

Never too old to learn.

Ron Kilby makes one-of-a-kind custom carom cues. He will be a lot more willing than most cue makers to do it the way you want.

Schuler makes carom cues. www.schulercue.com

Longoni is at www.longonicues.com

In the US, Hector Rosas represents Longoni -- contact info is on his web site
www.billiardsimport.com
