Where do you get it...

Hey everyone, I am in need of some help. I recently got screwed by someone with whom I have been doing business with for a long time so now I must find a person or business to get supplies from. Aside from Atlas and Prather for your normal things like tips and ferrule rod who would you trust with your money. With the season drawing to an end I need to see if there are other avenues out there for me. If you have special places where you get things and don't want to say could you at least send me a PM with a hint so I can google the hell out it. I am primarily only tips, ferrules, shafts and rewraps. I just need help here.

I thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I will not under any circumstance give out the name of the business that rolled a fast one on me so please don't ask, I don't like to speak bad about anyone, it's just a hard lesson I had to learn and learn I did.

I also use Schmelke and I have never had a problem with them.

You want different suppliers from the regular as you had trouble with one known to give trouble but you eliminate two who have some of the best service in the business ( Atlas and Prather ). Is there some reason that you don't want them also? The one cardinal rule that I stick to is to never give out the names my normal suppliers. I give out specialty suppliers names but never for standard items.

I never said it was Atlas or Prather, I said aside from them. Please don't twist my words. My ex-wife did that a lot and she was from that neck of the woods. Sometimes it is hard enough asking for help but it's even harder to get by when peoples ego gets in the. All I did was ask for some help Dick and yes I know how everything works it's dog eat dog unless i'm on your special list. I guess when I come home and see my folks in Eaton I will have to thank you. Please think before you speak.

To everyone else thanks so far for the hand and if your in vegas I owe you a beer.

I did think before I spoke and I can not see where I twisted your words in any way, shape or form. I never said that Atlas or Prather is the one who screwed you. You sir are putting words into my mouth that I have not uttered. Perhaps your ex-wife wasn't twisting your words after all, maybe you just weren't understanding what she was saying. We all know who did that no matter if you stated it or not. I was questioning why you would look for others than Atlas and Prathers as their service is at the top of the heap. You are the one asking for others besides those two.

I have to say that I read dicks post a few times after I saw your response and I dont see where dick said that you had problems with Atlas or Prather? Personaly I think you owe him an apology.
