right...marlon manalo is a politician right now in mandaluyong here in Manila...he's the little mayor of his turf and actually heard great news on how he is running his place...an honest man...i could say...

U could say that. He "seems" to be doing a good job. But on the other hand, there is a long history that Politics in the PI is 95 precent corrupt. It's a rare Pinoy politicain that's "honest", Diba? Time will tell? Marcos, Erap, GMA, not to mention all the Senator's. Corruption is out of control. Most every local in the RP, a person realstically can't get elected to "free" office without out THE RIGHT last name. It's the only thing that matters.

Most people get the sort of politicians they deserve. Isn't that an old proverb.

yes pangit...maybe a few honest men are out there...what matters is there are...and all you mentioned are long gone...either dead or with current cases to face...law of retribution i guess...
