?????

IMHO, I like Championship 30/30 Touring Edition cloth for a little less $$$...and it seems to me to hold up a little better if you have much play at all!?

I have used Simonis 860 and championship 30/30 side by side in my pool room. My cloth is brushed and vacumed every day, and a cleaner is used once a month. I left the cloth on those two tables for 1 1/2 years, and the Championship Cloth doesn't wear even close to the Simonis, also in my opinion it is not as fast either, but I suspose that depends upon the location.

Take Care, we will have to agree to disagree on this one!!:)

Hello. I'm not familiar with this 30/30 cloth. Is it Simonis too? Could someone please tell me all I need to know about 30/30? Thanks in advance.

Greg

Your a better judge than me!

No worries here Craig,

I'm sure you have much more play than we do here :embarrassed2:

It's just my feeling that the 30/30 is holding up really well here compared to the normal cloth we used to use!?

For the moment, we are very happy with the speed of the 30/30 cloth

Not the Expert!?

My understanding is that the 30/30 plays a little slower than Simonez.....but, it may or may not hold up to the wear and tear as well???

It seems to me that the 30/30 here is wearing really well and playing good! The Simonez cloth to me is fantastic but, it looks like somebody put the horse away wet after a few innings if you know what I mean

I own a BAR which sees alot of action and abuse so the 30/30 is a test for us this year and for the moment is holding up really well?!? Craig may be a better judge since he owns a pool hall in Seattle and I'm sure he sees alot more play than ourselves!

Anyways, we are happy with the change over to 30/30 from the normal cloth and like anything else it's a matter of preference ;)

Greg, the Championship 30/30 is made by Championship and it is the Cloth they make that is often compared to Simonis 860. While it is cheaper them Simionis, in my opinion it is not as good, one key factor that you will see over and over again is that it Compared to Simonis. When a product is compared to another, the item that things are being compared to is what you want to buy. Now I understand that this may not always to true, and some new products may even be better, but when it comes to Billiards Cloth, I have personally found none better than Simonis 860 for Pocket Billiards tables.

Yes, 30/30 plays slower and wears slower as well. Obviously it's thicker cloth.

If I owned a pool hall of 20 tables or more, and the majority of players were casual players, I'd use the 30/30. Less tables, or more serious players, Simonis. (unless it's just a bunch of kids, then I'd use shag carpet with Scotch-Guard).

I use 760 at home.
