I started to write a post saying the only 2 guys I ducked that i could think of in the past few years were Shane Van Boening when he came in with you late on a Friday and you wanted to put him in some big action and Beau Runnigan who you talked about me playing and I backed down. I knew neither one of them would be talking to Lou. Then I had the thought that you were the common denominator and I wondered if you had said something. I decided not to write the post because I thought you might have and I was going to ask you about it.
I have to be the worst lock artist in the world, gambling even with Efren, Parica, Santos, Billy Palmer, Raphael Martinez, Ike Runnels, Richard Grenier,
Ricky from St Louis, Sergio from Chicago, a few of the top Vegas players, Tommy Tokoph, Gus Briseno. I guess to escape my lock artist designation I will have to start offering them weight (right).
I don't bet high often with $100 a game being my comfort zone. But I have played sets for $1,000 to 3,000 in recent years giving up a lot of weight.
I had a game lined up with your friend Cotton (we have played partner games against each other and matched up once) for $2000 with me giving him a little weight but he had a family crisis and couldn't make it.
I did offer to play you $1000 a game giving you a little more weight than Cotton gives you I believe it was 12-5 but you told me because we are friends you would only want to bet $20 which I respected.
Too bad you gave Lou ammunition now I can't say everything he was saying was imaginary but I have said a lot of stupid things in my life so I am not one to cast stones.
Wayne
I didnt give Lou ammo, it's not like that at all. I stepped up and was honest about what i did say, i didnt have too. I aint a weasel, I read your posts and manned up. My intentions were not to piss you off or Lou. Sorry if I did.
Wayne, I told Lou your a solid player, You are-especially there in HOB, I dont think anyone would argue that point. I dont even know Lou other than on here. I am honest and told you that.
on another note i wasnt staking SVB, we were looking for a scotch game, I decided to pull up because Shane was firing balls 100mph into the pockets, as you know that dont work in that room so we left-we were not really seriously looking for action anyways, after I saw him firing balls I said "lets go", Im not a stake horse-ever. And he wouldnt listen to me, so that was a wrap. I wouldnt play with any partner that wont listen to me about trap tables. Shane bobbled 30 balls, i watched it, he was playing alone, the tables were wet. I told him in the car before, those pockets aint made for that kind of play. I dont care how much better he plays than me, i was right.
I like you and respect you, thats why I still really dont want to bet $1000/game with you. I would like to play Shades that high or higher. however after the other day i give up on him. Let him grind $20's off his regular customers. maybe we will have to play higher, i need to be in more than $200-$300 action to get ready for a bigger game I have lined up elsewhere. I cant step up form $300/game 1P onto $5K/game-i learned that the hard way. Its possible to win LOTS of $$$ off me, if someone is willing to gamble with me. Its possible to rob me for $20 bills all day every day.
I hope that clears things up if you like we can meet and talk in private, but to be clear, i didnt give anyone any ammo or knock. I didnt duck on what i said either. 99% of the guys wouldnt man up like I did either.
respectfully
