Where's Efren Reyes?

:) The 'Magician' has been out of the pool scene lately....last we saw him about a week ago was at the Puyat Sports tournament in Manila for the bragging rights of country's next 'big guys'...aside from that, no word or tourney presence from Efren...anybody knew what's up lately with the Magician?:)

He was in Guam for an exhibition show.

He will be competing in Sargo's Golden Classic, a Bugsy(yes, not Puyat) promotion tournament.

I guess even the network channels are jumping in to the Pool Bandwagon which could only mean more money for Efren appearances.

any idea which pool hall he frequents?.....
 
I saw him on July 14th in Pasay for that young guns tournament.
Did a tv interview.
He had so many cheap easy money games lined-up that night. People just hand Efren their money to play him.
I think he's at One Side a lot these days. Might be robbing Pacquiao even. :P
 
Oh well, 3 more days and Manny Pacquiao is out of the country. I think Effie is just conditioning Manny's mind on how it sucks to lose which should motivate him more to retire Barrera. :D

I wouldn't bet on it if I were you! Manny is Manny, he can cancel a flight on
a whim, specially if we're talking about cockfighting, pool or women! :D
 
Last I heard he was playing in a ten ball ring game with Chuck Norris, David Hasselhof and Ted Nugent. Efren was short stacked and David Hasselhof bunted the 8 ball, Chuck Norris passed the shot back to David Hasselhof which made it look like the two were working together. In disgust Efren broke his cue down stormed out of the pool hall. Another black eye on the world of pool.:eek:

From who did you hear this? Was it filmed? Do you have the clip?


Bcos I heard this story differently. I also heard Chuck and David had some sort of a deal, but after Efren broke his cue, he surely did not walk out from the pool hall. I heard that he beat the sh!t out from these wankers..
 
I was giving him the 7 ball and 3 on the wire to 11 for $2500 a set about 3 hours ago, then I had to wake up to go pee, when I got back to my pillow, he was gone and the $$$ wasnt in the light over the table, I cant believe he ran out on me like that-I was ahead too, so I cant be too mad. I finally drifted back to sleep. I wondeer who I'm gonna play next, maybe I'll give shane VB the same game i need some easy $$$.
