Which Of These 2 Cues Would You Buy??

Thanks again to everyone for all of the replies they are extremely helpful. Yes I agree that the mezz is much more unique with the way it looks and the Rosewood is what turns me on to the way it looks so much. I can see that clearly most ppl like the schon but it sounds like its mostly because they own or have owned/played schons and havent really played mezz. I know qlot of you mentioned a custom from here and I wish I could but like ppl have mentioned that saw in my earlier posts, I am using 325.00 in giftcards. I think ill end up going with a coin toss to make the decision im so torn lol. Anyone else feel free to chime in and thanks a lot to the person that posted earlier about playing with both mezz and schon and telling . Me your opinion. I would love to hear more from anyone else who has played both and what you think about them or which plays better.

Thanks again everyone.

Schon...BUT...

I'd buy a custom on this site instead. Amazon is so popular, I gotta believe that many of the cue sellers here on this site would take your amazon card on trade for a cue, if it's transferable ...I would if you were buying a cue from me...but I have nothing near the price your shopping in.

Well I was in that pricerange because theres nothing on amazon that I felt like paying more for... the 600 range for amazon did offer some decent cues. If im spending anything more then im going custom. I dont mind zpending more for a nice custom. If there are any people here with customs they would sell on amazon, id fork out more.

You've heard this?
Ok, now I'm telling you they both play the same or close enough to be considered your standard average difference from cue to cue under the same brand name.
I have several 80's Schon's and several of the newer ones.
Out of all those I use a 1999 Schon 18.7 oz by far the most.
Now that you heard this you can say that you heard they both play the same or close enough with no preference to either.

OK, I'll chalk one up for your side, if you insist. 47-6, newbies making a comeback. Almost everybody I've ever asked about it says the older ones played better, and I guess you think the '99 model plays the best...right?

I'd buy the Mezz, because I like white wrap, and the design is something fresh and simple. I love the classical design in cues, but not in that Schon.
Mezz has a better resale value, and I think they are in their prime now.

Just a quickupdate on the cue. I did end up going with the schon (i flipped a coin lol). Ive only played with it once and this is also my first irish linen cue which is bringing about a unique issue. My pechauer is wrapless and the clear coat makes it thicker and with this irish linen cue I have two problems. Firstly, its thinner which makes it odd to grip and shoot with and secondly, that irish linen wrap is slick and feels like it wants to shoot out of my hand unless I grip it tighter than im used to and is throwing things off.

That being said, ive only shot with it once for two games and didnt do so hot with those problems and the tip which i need to change to the kind I use but ill give it a shot and if not, ill return or sell it and get that mezz. Just hoping I made a good choice. I appreciate everyones help and opinions. Everyone was informative and extremely helpful.

I have a Pechauer P10 with a 12.25mm tip. It is wrapless also.

Nice cue.... why the need for trying out a Schon?

Any change in cue is going to feel odd for awhile. After a month of playing with the Schon, the Pechauer will feel odd to you. That being said, now is the time to look at the return policy.

I've played with the same cue for somewhere about 10 years now I would say, but I've changed shafts 3 or 4 times. I'm really happy with my current set-up but it took months to fully adapt to it.
