Which pro are you going to challenge in the AZB Room?

Mike H. just posted this in another thread, but I wanted to give it the attention it deserves.

My answer? I am going to challenge as many as I can! :p

2007 BCAPL 8-Ball National Tournament AzBilliards Skybox

In the tradition of the Derby City Classic's AzBilliards room, we will have a skybox this year at the BCAPL 8-Ball National Tournament. Starting on Friday May 11th until Saturday May 19th, skybox #205 will be the "AzBilliards Room". We wil have an open 9' Diamond Table for everyone's enjoyment. We will have pro players coming by for autograph signings and "challenge the pro" games.

Click here for a map of the area. We are on the second floor in the corner room (#205).

Everyone is welcome to come by and have some fun. This is not a private party and pre-registration via the forums is not necessary.

If you didn't get a chance to order your AzBilliards shirts during the pre-sale, we will have shirts available in the room all week long.

We have confirmed appearances by the following players:
Jeanette Lee
Allison Fisher
Melissa Herndon
Jennifer Barretta
Johnny Archer
Gabe Owen
Corey Deuel
Team Dragon Promotions (Mika Immonen, Rodney Morris, Thorsten Hohmann and more)
Times will be announced for these players and more when they are scheduled.

We also have scheduled clinics from BCA Master Instructor and National Billiard Academy founder Tom Simpson at the following times...
Tuesday May 15th 1:00 PM
Wednesday May 16th 2:00 PM

I just want a pic with Jasmin sitting on my lap :D :D
I'll probably swing up there Friday early evening when we get in. Hope to see you all there. Good times.

VERY COOL function for the players, Linda -- wish I were going. But, what is with the link you posted in your message (I removed the URL)? It redirects to a mortgage page at Lending Tree, and not to a map of the area (skybox #205).

Could you edit the link so that it points to the proper URL? Those who ARE going will probably like to see this.

Hey, best of luck to you and ALL of the WA State group.

Damnit!!!! I didn't see Linda Carter's name on the list. I guess she's just too busy to play some challenges with the rabble in the AZB room.

LOL, I am only a semi-pro, but I will be glad to take on all challengers in the slow times, so someone can knock me off my throne!

WW,
Well in that case, maybe I will bring my cue along for the ride. I have to believe that a majority of the forum members would rather challenge you than some other person on your list. Many of us value participation in the forum far more than participation on some professional tour.:)

Please do bring your cue. Maybe Jeanette and I can team up with you against another 3 AZBers in Scotch Triples!

And thanks for the sweet words. I may have to change my vote for Breakup to a vote for you! :p

WW,
I like your idea of a Scotch Triples Match - I will look into it, IF I can get permission from the wife to bring my cue.

Remember that a vote for me over breakup is a vote for reason over insanity, light over darkness, intelligence over madness, civility over rudeness, culture over barbarism, kindness over cruelty, cleanliness over.....well, you get the idea.

Sorry if I don't know the answer, but anyway where is this going to take place? City, State etc...

I'd give a kidney to sit and talk with Jennifer Barretta. No, seriously.

Mark,
Just a note to let you know you are not spending enough time here on AZB. Several of the AZB'ers were fortunate enough to spend an afternoon in Peoria a couple of years ago with her; playing some pool and shooting the breeze (thanks to another anonymous AZB'er for arranging it). There are DEFINITE advantages to hanging out here.

Here's the link:

It is going to be in Las Vegas, NV at the Riviera, BCA Nationals, May 11-19.

The Make A Wish Kidney Foundation might be able to set that up for the price of a single donated kidney.

Joey,
Be careful now; he may have been talking about donating one of YOUR kidneys.
