While I would prefer to play on a 12' table, there is absolutely plenty of enjoyment to be had on a smaller table. I seriously don't understand why anyone would feel compelled to be a snob about it. If the amount of room and availability dictate a smaller table, then there is nothing wrong with it. The concentration and fundamentals are the same. The reason I like the bigger table is for the slightly increased challenge and the chance to enjoy a well hit shot for a little bit longer.

Snooker is like pizza and sex. Even if it's bad, it's still pretty good. I prefer the 12' but will settle for the 10' if that's all that's available.

I have never had the opportunity to play on a 12 footer. I would love to, but I had a lot of fun on a 10 footer.

Why is it that when adults play snooker on a table smaller than 12 foot they have to be off it come four o clock?

The kids are back from school then and want their table back. :)

My first bit of snooker equipment....

Me grandad made me one just like this when i was six. wrapped it up for me birthday and on a card wrote.... bugger small tables.

12-foot table. There's only one nearby, so that's where I play.

Will settle for a 10-foot table is nothing else is available.

Have played "pooker" on a 9-foot table with my own set of 2-1/8" Aramiths.

Wouldn't mind trying a Riley 6-foot table.

Probably wouldn't like playing snooker on a 3-inch table (a.k.a. iPhone screen), but might try it anyway.

Regularly play snooker in my head, which may be the smallest table of all.

The closest 12 footer to me is in Atlanta at Mr. Cues and that is at least a 3 hour drive for me. I have played on the aforementioned table but it is no fun by myself. The only snooker tables nearby are 10 footers. I sure wish there was a 12 footer within half an hour or so of here.

A six hour round trip and no one to play with. !!!

I just thank the gods i'm an Englishman in England. The only thing thats ever put me off playing was her indoors, after 10 years of her i laced her cuppa with syanide and happily played every day therafter for the next 20 years. The 12 footer was only 3 cells away. :D

Twelve foot snookerer tables

The last guy said the closest 12 footer was in atlanta. Thats wrong! There are three (count'em) three 12 foot snooker tables at the "cue club" in las vegas nv on sahara avenue. I played on one of them last week. The back door faces sahara ave. You have to turn in and go to the front side of the shopping center to find the front door. Theres a "golf" game going almost all day and night. Sorry guys, the "crystal palace" closed about 2 years ago. Theres also an asian snooker club on spring valley road in vegas. But you have to be a member and i dont know if you need to be asian, but dont know if they have any 12 footers. Randy

I think you are referring to the 4 Kaz Snooker Club & Bar located at 5115 W. Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas.

They have five full-sized snooker tables, and the USSA will be holding a Tour Event there over the weekend of May 21 & 22, 2011.

Best wishes.

Alan.

Here in Montana you would be hard pressed to find a 12' table. I feel blessed to have a 10' table at home. I would love to play on a 12' table however.
