That's probably it. The cue guy and "The new guy" sound similar enough.

Also, with the listing winning bid at $800, I would say the chances of you getting $1900 for it are pretty slim, but you never know.

Good luck.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Yes to the fellow that correctly ID'd the item.

Well it never hurts to try.

I will hollar at thecueguy and have a discussion.

I sell a few things for him ,if the price is right that is.HaHa
I really didn't mean to insult anyones intellect I wasn't aware of the price .

AZ Billiards is comprised of thousands of fanatic pool players, collectors, dealers, and a lot of people who just plain love the game. There is not much about the game, pool cue and case pricing, and general pool items that SOMEONE on here won't know about.

If I had posted this item at a price of 250% over its sales price based on someone's advice (you said "The Cue Guy"), I would be more than a little pissed.

If I had posted this item with full knowledge of the item's value and was just trying to rip AZB off, then everyone else would (rightfully) be pissed at me.

New guy is not perfect (NEITHER IS HIS GAME)

I'm new and I don't need to screw up a reputation I would like to build HONESTLY.

IN THE FUTURE I WILL RESEARCH TO THE BEST OF MY ABILITIES ANYTHING> I POST FOR SALE OR TRADE.

I think you already blew it with your initial offer price of $1900 on an $800 cue. You might want to stick to eBay. Your reputation is already shot to hell here...

Never deal with this guy. Many years ago the cue guy sold me some meucci's and they were both straight up bent. He would not take them back and was completely disrespectful about the whole transaction. He is a complete scam artist among other things. His name is mark. I have more info if anyone needs it on this f!@#ing clown.

 THIS "CUE guy" "The CueGuy" is SHADY

A while back, I saw this shady person selling cues on Craigslist.

He had a few Meucci's and some MCD's, at good prices. Emailed him, was about the buy a couple, Find out, he wasn't local, and confronted him that the Meucci's were factory 2nd's because of some minor defects i had viewed using magnifying glass and photoshop.

TOO good to be true, YEP, dirty cheat.

This "TheCueGuy" also on ebay, sell's factory 2nds and if you're not careful the description is a lie. Many times I've seen cues listed that are not truthful. Just like "CarlsCue" same kind of snake, different poison.

SHADY SHADY SHADY SHADY. Perfect example of Corporate greed and doing anything to make a buck.

NewGuy and CueGuy

Since you obviously are, or an acquaintance with CueGuy,

Please note that I am adding you to my "To catch a Predator List with Chris Hansen on Dateline NBC here on AZB."

:deadhorse:

Wrong cueguy

Please be careful with the names... I just saw this.
My handle is "cueguy" and my website is cueguy.com, but this has nothing to do with me ;-)
I hardly ever sell cues - I am strictly in the cue repair business in Hoover,AL.
I do know there is a "thecueguy.com" - I don't know if that is who you guys are talking about.
Just wanted to clear that up.

Thanks a bunch!

The New Guy and the Cue Guy aren't the same person and I seriously doubt that they are in cahoots.

I dealt with the New Guy (Chris) shortly after he joined the forum on a great Tim Padgett cue. The deal was smooth and I was very pleased with the cue.

The Cue Guy is Mark, who lives in Phoenix and is the gentleman pictured here... I haven't bought or sold cues to or from him, so I can't enlighten anyone about his business. He did call me once, though, to let me know I might be bidding in a bad auction on Ebay, and he was right on the money. I didn't increase my bid on the cue and the guy that got it left bad feedback for the deal.
