Hello All, I am considering a new Whitten Cue Case and would like any opinions pro or con. I am trying to decide on either a 3x4 or a 3x6 case. Any thoughts are greatly appreciated good or otherwise...
Thanks,
Dan

Me too. I'm thinking about either a 2x4 or 3x6 or something. I would probably get a plain smooth black to start with, then sell that (if i like it enough to do the following) and order another in two tone or something, and have it personalized. But i'm used to Instroke's ease of entry and exit, and i've never been a fan of "dumping" my cue's out. Oh and to make it more expensive, it'll have to be longer than his standard :( .

Thanks,

Jon

So hurry up and give us some pros and cons... :D .

3 by 6? OK, you're a Googan. :D
Whittens are heavvvvvy. Built like a tank.
I have two cases. Instroke 2 by 4 cowboy and Silver Fox medium case.
Not quite as nice as the Whitten but they do the job.
Joey~Has no idea why you need more than 2 cues in the case~

Good evening Dan:

I have owned a Whitten 2x4 for several years now. The case is an excellent choice, looks and wears well, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to invest in a high end cue case.

Justise Cases, by Jack Justis, is also another excellent consideration. I also have a Justis Case, customized for me by one of my sponsors, and it is an exceptional piece of equipment.

I have a 3x5 now. One to play (my cue), one to break (pechauer) (when i'm not tired of breaking with the player) and an extra slot for something for sale, or for something i picked up in a room.
I want to go back to a 2x4, unless i make a "masse cue". But don't know if i will or not... if i do, i'll just use duck (duct) tape and pvc pipe to carry the masse cue :D .

Thanks,

Jon

Whittens are like a piece of fine luggage, flawlessly executed and built to last.

I have a Whitten 2x2 that I bought at the Valley Forge Expo several years ago and absolutely LOVE it! I too highly recommend them. Good luck.

I just purchased a Whitten not too long ago. One of the good things about the 3x6 version is that it stands up by itself. As for having to dump out your cues, as long as you put the butt in joint side up there isn't a problem because the shaft tubes are customizable and have springs to eject the shaft. I love the case and don't think you can go wrong with one. I will probably also order a Justis eventually as well. Good luck on your case order.

Whittens are wonderful cases. Treat them as you would any luxury item and they will hold up for years and years. Dan and his family are committed to sleek elegance and their execution is flawless.

I have loved all of my Whittens. Dan chastised me for putting blue vinyl on my 1x2 to make a two tone blue/black case but I thought it was perfect. Since then Whitten's are available in a virutally unlimited variety of combinations which makes them even more unique and desireable.
