I don't know the number but it is a super long taper on the 12.0, I don't know if there is a difference in taper on the 12.5 shaft, you do get a little feedback on the 12.0 shaft, feels more like a wood shaft but with better transfer of power
Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

Same here, and good news for one of these is 12.5 is the sweet spot for me.

I've avoided even thinking about carbon fiber for years and have it on the brain to at least try and based on what @HawaiianEye has written these have been in my mind for awhile. Almost pulled the trigger Black Friday and the prices don't seem that much different now, just not the "bundle".
Totally different I'm sure, but way back when my Dad got our table for the basement he bought a few house cues and for some reason thought he'd try an aluminum one - he always used it, I never liked it - the taper was odd and the tip wasn't good and would get all fuzzy. Apples and oranges, but the blue Becue I'm looking at makes me think of that.
Here are the specs of mine I did a long time ago.
I have three shafts, two white ones and a black one. I can't remember if it was a white or black one when I done the measurements. I assume they would be the same or very close.
I have the Prime Pro taper shaft, so the Prime II may be a bit different.

I swore I would never use a CF cue, Hawaiian Eye and Becue's website helped me decide to try their cues, I now own their Break cue, Jump cue and you see the pictures of the custom work they did for me, I guess I like their cues.....
I was in the same frame of mind. For the last 8 years I played with a steel jointed Tascarella and decided to try new technology. I bought a Mezz and used the Ignite shaft. However, when I investigated the Becue, I was very impressed with their technology, plus the best player in our league was using an all carbon fiber cue from Go Customs. Also, the members mentioned above had very interesting threads on the Becue. I pulled the trigger on a Becue a few months ago, and can tell you that there is really nothing that can compare to the hit of the all carbon fiber cues. I really like mine.

I have heard of Go Customs recently but have never checked out their website, after looking at the site one thing stood out to me, there was nothing about how they used CF technology to make a better cue, Becue's website talks about 3 years of R&D before releasing their 1st cue, I don't expect Go Customs to give away their trade secrets but there was nothing to show why use them and not someone else either, being a pro player is a business, I understand why players will endorse a cue to pay the bills, Becue doesn't pay players to use their cues, I respect that, I as a below average amateur player just getting back into pool again stumbled on to the AZ Billiards site, when Hawaiian Eye, a guy who started out as a teenager working at a pool hall and has been playing this game his whole life, who has seen decades of the latest and greatest new pool gear come and go, says theses cues are great, that holds a lot more significance to me, Becue is not paying him to say it, he is simply trying to help a fellow player out, I'm not bashing any other cue, there are a lot of high quality great playing cues made of wood and CF, there are so many factors that go into finding the right cue for yourself, I have put in alot of practice time in the last 4 years and I am playing the best pool of my life but I still desire to be better, so I still put in a lot of practice time, I'm glad the company that builds my cues is working just as hard as I am to be better too.
Someone should snatch it up for their Christmas present.
Experiences with Kamui tips on these and recommendations? I'm nowhere near anyone who could put a different tip on it, so want to get it right if I can, lol, from the start - didn't know if the carbon fiber aspect made a difference in tip softness (although I'm sure that's individual).
Also, never played with any kind of wrap on my wooden cues - any thoughts on the wraps? Or feel of the cues without?

The feel of the Naked Becue butt is the same as any other cue that has a clearcoat finish.
I have yet to change the tips on any of my Becue shafts.
The tips on mine are not hard tips.

For what its worth, Kamui claims its Athlete tip is for CF shafts. It is, like Taom Fusion, a tip of more than one hardness. Fusion's hardness is inside versus outside of the tip. Kamui's has the top of the tip softer and the bottom harder:
