I'm not surprised the company next door supplies their tubes, the engineers that started Becue were already working in CF, my guess is that it was probably at that factory, they spent 3 years of R&D before releasing their 1st cue, they are still doing R&D , it's one of the things I love about Becue, they are not putting out something new just to say it's new, they are building different shafts for different types of hits, not every player will like the same type of hit, It's not that one shaft is better than another, they are engineered to play differently.
Who builds the Becue, full pool cues, and are they popular?

I wouldn't bet on the next door thing unless the folks next door rely on some material from elsewhere - got a nice email today indicating they are still waiting for the tubes and it's an international shipping delay of some kind and not to expect my cue before the end of the year. It will get here when it gets here.
I received a email this morning that my Born Naked has been shipped. I think due to my retirement event coming up they may have put my in front of some orders, which I appreciate.
Really looking forward to getting to play with the new cue.
I have so many cues to choose from and it will be fun to make a comparison.
Love it - she sent me one telling me mine would be the first one shipped when the tubes came in, lol. P________g down my back and telling me it's raining, haha --- enjoying Xmas too much to be bothered with anything the next few days!

Haha, I don't think so in reality, just got a chuckle based on the email I got yesterday - I'd guess orders are being fulfilled in order, so to speak - hope they don't forget my Christmas gift bundle, lol, can't think of anything I want for Valentine's Day if it takes that long. Now makes me wonder though, if that part about her wondering when I can come to Italy and visit wasn't sincere . . .

For anyone that's used becue shafts with both the white and clear ferrules - do you have a preference? Is one lighter than the other? Stiffer?
I don't know about lighter or stiffer, but, for me, the white ferrule makes it easier to judge just how close you are stroking up to the cue ball. It gives me greater depth perception.
Mine do not have the white ferrules.
I have Prime II shafts, both 12.5mm. One has a clear ferrule, the other white. I prefer the white for sighting, and I also feel it has a crispier hit than the clear.

I have the Prime II 12.0, I have used the Engage 11.8 shaft, I have only used the clear, I love the way my cue hits with the clear, that is why I never tried the white.
I have a question about whether it's reasonable to assume I could sell some Becue items as a package (as a singular "lot" of items), or whether selling them in a lot is just unrealistic. I am not asking about pricing. I'm just wondering if people think my purchase could be sold as a lot or whether that would be too difficult and I should sell items individually.

Maybe start a new thread for this question? You could do what some sellers do and offer a price for each item individually and a discount price for the lot.

I actually live in Hawaii and ordered a Becue Prime II shaft from them. It was faster shipping from Italy than an order off of Ebay thru San Fran - at this time I am still waiting for.... Took a total of 5 days from Italy to Germany to Kentucky to Honolulu. 6 days if you count the ordering day. League is starting up so I am excited to give this shaft a try. Mating up this shaft with a Mezz butt that I bought on the cheap that didnt come with a shaft. In my opinion, its the business end of the cue that makes it a player (for me) - I own a R Black, Omega DPK, Mezz 3x, Schuler, Cuetec and all with different shafts both CF and wood. I've been out of pool for the last 30 years+ so with all the advancements in CF and hybrid wood shafts, this is really interesting! Thanks for all the information you guys share on this forum!
Mezz is a great cue as well, I think you will be very happy with the shaft and it will be a great combination, looking forward to hearing your review when you get it.

Just played the first week of APA league this past Sunday. Mezz SA-9 with a United Joint. The Prime II 12.5 is a VERY sensitive shaft - I had to take a few games to get used to the follow/draw and english that it put on the cue ball. I know it may be the tip (Becue Core medium) but I do have other cues/shafts with different tips of different hardness levels. Remember that I haven't shot in a couple decades so it really took some getting used to, kind of like the Tad Cue that I had in the late 80s that had a really flexible shaft. Won both 8 and 9 ball matches but it was closer than I would have liked. Give it another 2 weeks or so and it should be one of the best shafts I would have ever owned. On their website, Becue says "...natural feel and flexibility of a wooden shaft...most flexible carbon fiber shaft on the market"
Of the few CF shafts that I do own (Raven, Cuetec, Rhino, and a generic no name), this is by far the closest I get to the old style flexable shafts I remember in the past.
I will probably not sell this like I did the TAD....should have kept it as I believe this shaft would have fit it!

Mine has been in Louisville Kentucky since the 24th of December.
I get the message from UPS of
"Your package arrived at Import without prior notification. UPS is working to resolve the issue. / Your delivery will be rescheduled."
That message gets resent to me every other day.
I Have tried to let Becue know and so far, no response.
Called UPS and talked to three different agents but had a hard time understanding them as it does not seem that English is their first language.
I will try and contact Becue again tonight and see what they say.
Yikes, that suggests Becue didn't get all the import issues handled in advance - but who knows, and that's just what UPS is saying which isn't always what happens, lol. Hope Becue is responsive.

Might be UPS... I just bought (another) Mezz cue out of South Carolina on the 28th of December. From SC to Kentucky to Honolulu it took 2 days. It arrived at the local Honolulu facility on the 30th. It is now the 5th of January and tracking says "Now arrives Thu, Jan 8 2:30pm" a full week after it had arrived in the same city I live in!!!
It may be "Holiday delivery fatigue" but to the locals, that's what we call "Hawaiian Time"!!!
