who can beat mike massey? i know who!!!

massey's live shows

I saw Massey do a live exhibition many years ago and it was incredible. He barely took any time to set the balls up and barely needed a second try on any of them. His finger pool was the most amazing thing I'd ever seen. Barely missed any shots on tables that were old and not well kept. I bet that Czech guy can't do one handed push ups on the table either.

I think one of the COOLEST tricks besides the finger pool, and boot shot, is one i seen from a old video.

He puts a ball on the table by the head spot, and takes another ball and tosses it down the table and gets it to curve around the ball and into a pocket. And after every time he moves the ball back towards the end rail, and continues to throw a ball down the table making it curve around the ball and into the pocket.

Massey did it so many times that the last shot he ended up with only a couple of inches of room to make it around and into the pocket without hitting the end rail.

Now Honestly i think the only person who regularly has a chance of beating Massey is Stefano Palinga(sp)

joke

My point exactly. Trick Shots are more about the fun than the shots. Real pool is about simplicity. How easy can I make this game. The person that can make the most easy shots out of dificult situations wins.
I like your tag is that real pool where u r from? I have played pocket billiards for 24 yrs. So with that being said I agree trick shots are about jokes but, I hope you can laugh at them.

They may be a joke...but they are immensely enjoyed by the mainstream poolplayers and casual players, all over the world. Whenever there are two pros playing an exhibition match, they are ALWAYS asked to do a few trick shots, along with the featured match!
