Who do you like from here to win the Open?

I made a prediction before the tournament even started, and even though a few have been eliminated I'm sticking with it.

Someone from Taiwan/Chinese-Tapei will win.

Not who I'm rooting for, but just what I think will happen.

How did Dechaine do against HSU?

Is there an online bracket that shows who played who and maybe scores?

Thanks,
Al

Chinahov has had a fine event: no easy opponents yet...and I dont see any cupcakes in his future either.

Regardless of who takes it, it is always a fine event to sweat.

Bergman is the favorite for sure at this juncture.

Thanks to instructional pool author Phil Capelle who created this chart for the Final 16 on the winner's side:

Of interest, of the final 16 on the winners' side, there are more USA players still going (3) than from the Phillipines(2).

Not drawing any conclusion, just a point of interest.

Now it's down to the final eight on the winner's side with no Americans and no Filipinos.

Wow so many upsets and So many monsters thrown over to B side today - Mika ,Albin, Warren, Biado,Berg, Dechaine, Rodney
That den in B side cannot house so many monsters
I doubt winner from losers side can even stand after the beatings
He has to play twice or more number of matches and beat hungrier monsters
:D

The 2 Ko brothers and the 2 Changs (Jung Lin and Yu Lung) are all out of the tournament.

There are still 7 Filipinos on the B side. My dark horse is Jeff Ignacio.

Looks like 2 Taiwanese players left, Hsu and Chen, both on the winner's side.

Two Chinese players left, Li and Dang, both on the one loss side.

These notables are also out
Niels
Drago
Alex
Morra
Kazakis
Nick Eko
Archer
Gallego
Earl
Chamat

So we are now down to last 32
8 on winners side and 24 on losers side
Thursday they start with 32 and finish with & end of day (I think )
And final day Friday they start will 8 and finish within 1 champion end of day

And a big loss- Karen Corr
